Best choice for productivity tasks at this price
I received the product on time and its working fine. The benchmarks look good. 8 cores are doing wonders for code compilation which is my main use case. The processor holds up really well on latest games as well.

Beast of CPU
Just upgraded from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 5700x . Getting FPS boost with rtx 4060 . Using with 120mm aio cooler max temperature is 70 c degree with heavy gaming and streaming. Idle temperature staying around 40-50 c degree

Good Multi-tasking processor
So I was planning to upgrade my specs from AMD Ryzen 5 2600 to something powerful and multi-threaded; my budget was under Rs 20000, and I needed at least an 8 core processor. I was thinking of switching to Intel, but again, 11th, 12th, and 13th generation i7 processors are really costly; moreover, if I switch to Intel, I also need to change motherboard. Luckily, one day I saw a drop in price for AMD Ryzen 7 5700x, and I ordered it instantly without giving it a second thought. I don't see any significant improvement in performance when compared with my previous 6-core processor. No doubt, 5700x is a good processor, but for gaming, I think the performance is equivalent to that of 5600x, which costs 3000–4000 rupees less than 5700x. I would say that the 5700x is capable of heavy multi-tasking and can be very useful for designing an office LAN server-client system.

Works like a charm.... but gets very hot while playing games 90-95 C
Good product.... Works fine....but gets very hot while playing games and temperature goes to 95-96 C ....in games like call of duty warzone, DMZ which i think is not good.... install AMD Ryzen master software and keep processor in ECO mode for keeping temperature low if you using just the fan for cooling purposes (keeps 80-85 C in ECO mode) or use good cooling equipment .... and also remember before ordering.... fan not included....

Perfect
After reading so many bad reviews i became a bit hesitant about buying. But when product received and it worked properly, I think the users who complained about bent pins may be didn't installed cpu properly

This is a great price for this CPU, and a serious contender if you're going to be buying a discrete GPU and building your own PC. Ryzen 7 5700X offers great base speeds with lots of cache on 8 cores, and will happily accept some tweaking and overclocking. Some folks have worried about CPU bottlenecking with higher-end GPUs, but this works very well with a 7900XTX, and bottlenecking is only going to be an issue with huge GPU demand and a lot of back-end processes or demand placed on the CPU. Cyberpunk 2077 in 4k at 200fps? Easy. This is a GREAT mid-range CPU, and the L3 cache (one of AMD's cornerstones) is the same as most of the 7000 series Ryzen processors. However, with it not being a flagship model, most lower- and many mid-ranged motherboards may not support the chip straight out of the box. But don't let that deter you..... If you opt for a motherboard like mine (MSI) and face a similar issue - needing to update firmware/BIOS - don't worry. Follow the video guides on YouTube and in manuals and you'll be fine. But remember: format a new, small USB2 drive in FAT32, Google is your friend for this and for checking a partition is MBR (if you're very particular), download the exact version of BIOS required, and rename the file AND extension as directed. If you then boot from a Windows Installation Media drive, you'll get a fresh install of Windows without any bloatware or rootkits from any device manufacturer! Very easy to install - be gentle and cautious (and consider an antistatic wristband), line up the triangles, and don't force anything. Stability is a proven strength, and Ryzen Master is a good monitoring tool; the CPU voltage remains constant after idling for several hours with core temperature peaking at 30°C. Make sure you apply the thermal paste evenly, making sure to avoid leaving a blank spot. Appearance-wise? It's a chip. In an unnecessarily large box. Clean install of Windows 11 and up-and-running in less than an hour. Don't forget this chip DOESN'T HAVE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS AND DOESN'T COME WITH A STOCK COOLER, but let the CPU do CPU things and invest in a GPU of your choice. Plus, if you're opting for a CPU without integrated graphics, you'll probably be doing something with the cooling, right? As others have said (and this review highlighted previously), there must be some issue with the Amazon/seller/logistics/delivery process. I had multiple notifications about updates to tracking, but nothing informative on the Amazon platform. I was told, multiple times, that it had been dispatched, or tracking information was available, which did cause me some distress and confusion when seeing other reviews. I strongly suspect there's some issue between the vendor's platform, Amazon, tracking/delivery service, and how their systems speak to each other.

Best cpu per dollar , also got it on a huge discount

I bought this because it supports ECC, too bad there's no onboard graphics so you need to buy a cheap GPU.
