This chalk paint is absolutely fantastic! It went on like a dream, applying super smoothly and effortlessly. I was so impressed with how easily it glided on and how well it covered the surface in just one coat. The finish is beautiful and professional, giving my furniture a lovely, velvety matte look. It dried quickly and had a very low odor, which I really appreciate. This is a high-quality paint that made my project so much easier and more enjoyable. I'm already planning my next piece to use it on!

Excellent coverage, awesome color choices. Easy to use.

This was a good paint color did a flip for a family member and it dried fast and well on the drawers and the body of the furniture. I’m not a professional so it could be not as spotty but did take me about 3 coats for full coverage after a primer was sanded. I recommend a matte polyurethane I used a gloss by accident and wish I used a matte to reflect the paint better

This paint is wonderful. I loved how smooth it was. It self-leveled beautifully. It’s environmentally safe and non toxic. When it dries, it is a true chalk paint matte finish, and can be waxed, distressed, or left as-is.The only gripe that I have is that this particular color, driftwood is not what is pictured. The color that is shown here is a grayish tan. The color that comes in the jar can appear to be a warm grey in certain light conditions. It’s not an ugly color, just not what I was expecting. As you can see one of the items, a small bedside table, looks similar, the other items don’t look like the depicted paint color at all.All said, I will be trying other colors, as I do like the other aspects of this paint (non-toxic, self-leveling, finish, base coat and topcoat).

This paint is amazing. Color was bright and pretty. You can see the yellow on the wood and teal on the cheap wall cube shelf I purchased a decade ago. No sanding or pretreating the block and it went on perfect. The yellow on the wood took a second coat due to absorption of the untreated wood. I still have plenty of paint and am now searching for other things to add some color. The dry time is insanely fast. I will be purchasing more colors.

I used drift wood. Product was so much better than I expected! I ordered a peice of furniture that was supposed to be light natural wood and it came to me with a yellow shiny base. I didn’t even have to sand. I thought I would have to make it look distressed to try and fix the furniture and I didn’t even have to do that much. Great coverage. A little goes a veryyyy long way. Matte finish was was perfect. I only needed one coat for the wood markings to come though and for it to fix the color. I would absolutely purchase again!

So.. I've bought a total of 4 of these things (2x 8 oz, 1x 32 oz. and 1 x 16 oz).I went on a kick of painting all of my generic black/dark brown Ikea furniture because I was a little tired of not being able to see bugs on them.I used this on both the shiny/smooth furniture and wood furniture and it worked well on both of them. It definitely worked better on the wood furniture though.The paint was unexpected very easy to use and the color came out a LOT prettier than expected!It was easy to clean off my hands and brushes and the paint came right off my clothes in the wash as well.Overall, I'm very very pleased with this paint and will purchase more if I need any crafty paint in the future.One thing that was a little odd to me was that the first 3 times (2x 8 oz & 1x 32 oz), there was absolutely no smell to the paint, which I really loved. But the last one (16 oz) had a slight paint thinner smell to it and seemed a bit more watery compared to the other containers I had purchased. It still worked nicely though and the smell went away in one night so I don't have any complaints.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review unless it was a book, but I need to warn others.The portion you get is TINY. You will NOT be able to do a project without more than one. It’s a shame because the color is so beautiful and it is good paint. I’d give it 5 stars if they didn’t do this. It’s so disappointing. Now I have to wait another 2 days to finish my project.I added a photo. I have very small hands. I wear a size 5 ring on my ring finger. My teenage sons fingers are bigger than mine.
