How long have the oils been in the sellers possession? Before I purchase any I would want to know the date the oil was produced.

Each of those sellers will have different lots of inventory, so I'd recommend choosing a seller that has lots of positive feedback for their account. I can't speak for other sellers, but iServe sells only pure, unopened, new doTERRA products and we cycle our inventory as regularly as possible. Will diffusing cedar oil be beneficial for my closet? Will it protect my wool from moths and carpet bugs?

YES, moths that eat the protein of silk and wool clothing HATE cedar oil. We have never had our expensive clothes eaten with moth holes as long as I have used this in our closets. Moth balls cause cancer from breathing in the fumes: cedar oil and wood is 100% safe. I wish this bottle came with an eye dropper, but I dab this oil on hanging cedar blocks and ceder wood chips in a small pouch. just remember to refresh the hanging cedar wood twice a year as it evaporates like any other oil.

Is there an oil that lightens or removes dark spots
