GMS Exhaust systems are designed for the elite rider seeking top of the line performance, fit, finish and value. This FZ09 / FJ09 / XSR900 exhaust system was developed using the same technology that has powered Monster Energy Graves Yamaha riders to 7 consecutive Moto America / AMA Superbike championships along with numerous 600cc titles. Suggested tuning products are the optimized FTECU Flash Tune using the Graves Spec map on the FTECU database. This product is intended for closed course competition use only. Use of this product for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. We use the same 1.00 MM thick wall high heat grade Titanium tubing used on our Superbikes. This material is designed special for maximum durability and oxidation resistance up to 800*Celsius / 1472*Fahrenheit. It is designed to live at almost twice the temperature of normal Grade2 Titanium. The tubes are precision bent and cut with the latest equipment available. The tubing is then welded in fixtures designed so that repeatability is second to none. It comes with 2 Lambda receiver bung for on track data logging or Dyno tuning and closed loop active tuning. The spring tabs are made from thick Titanium wire for long life. The silencer is has a Titanium entrance cap and attaches to the Carbon fiber Silencer body. The silencer is hung with an Aluminum strapless mount for the cleanest look possible. The silencer body attaches to the end caps with stainless aircraft grade rivets and Titanium silencer bands. The inter core tube is made of stainless that slips over the entrance and into the exit cap that is accented with a Carbon fiber beauty cover with a 60* slash cut and a removable sound insert. Buy it, you won't regret a thing
yes its expensive but I figured I'm only going to buy one exhaust for my bike so might as well get the best one I can. The headers on it are nothing short of a masterpiece. The welds are incredible and the whole exhaust still in the box weighed less than 10 pounds. It's incredibly light and when the headers heat up they change to a beautiful bronze/purple color.Install took about an hour but also was not rushing at all. It was very straight forward and there are tons of videos out there to help you through it.Over all, its expensive but the second you fire it up you forget how much you just spent.
