I have just about every available attachment in the Black & Decker Matrix system, so when I saw this I had to add it to my collection. I intend to use this in connection with the refurbishment of a table with a nice tumbled marble top, but rust on its legs. This will allow me to get into the nooks and crannies to prepare the legs for a fresh coat of paint. As with other tools in the system this one simply snaps onto the Black & Decker Matrix power base (sold separately) which then requires a compatible 20 volt battery (also sold separately) for power. Once all 3 are connected you've got a powerful tool that will make any job much easier. (*For safety I always disconnect the battery from the base BEFORE adding or removing any of the various heads with this system) As a homeowner and DIYer I recommend this system, and this tool in particular. I have many other tools in this collection and I have used all of them at one point or another. I now have two large tool bags dedicated entirely to this system of tools. And I can switch between tools quickly and easily.
