Christianity, Cults and Religions (Rose Bible Basics)

Like it + Pamphlet so ordered another for gift. Never got it, delivered wrong house? Maybe hard to read address.

Well done description of each religion presented.

I liked how the comparison of cultic religions could be compared with one another in an organized and understandable way that made sense, even to other religions that aren't familiar to me. I was also able to compare the religions to which I am familiar and then compare that information to each other and also the other religions I wasn't familiar. This book appears informational only without taking or swaying one way or another and it gives just the facts and I liked that because it gives true reality without all the confusion that a person may have while trying to understand the concept of cults in religions. The author did an excellent job in displaying the charts and writing this book and I would definitely recommend to a person trying to understand this concept and have it make sense.

A very interesting summary of several cults and religions. Wish there was more depth -- maybe a few more pages needed. The format of the presentation is crisp and consistent which is helpful....but too crisp in some instances. I saw some items in my faith that I disagree with, though recognize it was to be succinct...I suspect other religions would feel the same about theirs.

This is useful to understand other religions and how they relate to Christianity. I recommend that everyone have a copy.

It describe accurately differents religions of the world

Rose's Bible Charts are excellent. Every Christian who does Bible study should have a set. I have hard copies as well as on my Kindle and I wish I had them on my computer so I can us them in my written Bible studies without having to type them over again.

I previously purchased Rosebook of Bible Charts, Maps, Timelines which was chalked full of pictures & interesting facts so I was eager to purchase this book. This book only provides a brief overview of the cult consisting of 1 page filled with a description of origins, key writings, key beliefs, & key practices per cult. This book fell short of my expectations in that I wanted a more detailed study. This information could be obtained in the introduction of any other book on world cults, & was a waste of my money. I had to buy another book to get the information that I desired.
