What is the weight of the 48" and 42" cue?

I can't say about the 42in didn't know they made one. But the 4ft is 19oz and the 3ft is about 17oz. So I imagine the size your asking if made would be 18oz range.

can you change the tip?

The tip is glued on vs screwed on, so changing the tip is a bit more involved but there are kits for doing it. I prefer glued-on tips anyway because they never get loose and rattle.

What is the joint size?

Balance Rite short cues have no joints. They are made on one piece.
