Noise Sound Level Meter, Digital Decibel Meter with LCD, Audio Measurement 30 dB to 130 dB, DB Meter with A and C Frequency Weighting for Sound Level Testing

This sound level meter meets my expectations and beyond. I like that it is easy to use and has a low range for low noise levels. It has both A and C weighting and also can display sound levels in dB as well as Sones. I purchased it to compare the noise level of several different computer fans and the results allowed me to make a reasonable trade-off between noise level and air flow rate. I would recommend this product because it seems like an excellent value.

It's a sound meter... what else is there to say? Great quality and it works. I would buy it again.

A very nice and easy to use low cost sound level meter. It has a feel and look of quality so it lends some inherent authority to the readings you take, not like some other units that look and feel really cheap. I can't confirm the accuracy, except by comparing the a sound app on my phone, but it certainly seems within reason to the expected values.

I consider myself a fairly particular audiophile and I wanted to quantify just how well balanced my home AV system was. I bought the VLIKE Noise Sound Level Meter to do this job. I could not be more please. The unit is very simple to use and made a noticeable difference in my sound system. Most systems today come with a mic and an Audessy program to do this automatically but I prefer to know what the setting are. The meter comes with two options of filtering A & C. C is the setting you should use for calibrating speaker for the true sound pressure. A is weighted and relative t a human's hearing . If you purchase one I hope you find it a useful as I did.

Great item easy to use and accurate enough for anything a standard person would need to use it for.

Bought it to use on test drives for a new car. Lots of freeway driving so this quantified the differences between cars the sales staff couldn't argue with. The neighbor uses it at high school functions to set sound levels.

Some of points wasn't accurate. Like there was a bus moving and the number was different from a similar bus.

This seemed to be OK. I was using it in a dark room so I had to keep hitting the light repeatedly, so it will not stay on which I guess is good for not leaving it on by accident and draining the battery faster. It sucks having to hit it every few seconds. But on the other hand, there was no auto power off so if you didn't hold the power button long enough or just forgot, the thing would stay on until the battery dies. Kind of annoying. Luckily, it didn't seem to eat too much battery, and sometimes I would notice it was still on after watching a movie. It would be nice if it would keep the previous settings but it resets each time you turn it off which is annoying too. Maybe I need to spend more money to get those features which is exactly what I am going to do.This thing stopped measuring after 4 uses so reliability is very questionable. Considering it just sat on my home theater table without any traveling or any type of hardship, that is some really poor reliability. I had 1/3 left on the batteries so maybe that is a contributor but I'm not about to keep feeding this thing. It is going back. I hope you have better luck.
