Evans Hydraulic tom batter heads give you the fat, deep, short sound pioneered by rock and roll drummers in the 1970s. Made with a thin layer of oil between two plies of 7 mil film (6.5mil & 7.5mil for Hydraulic Black), these heads not only suppress unwanted overtones, but are also famously easy to tune. Hydraulics have a defined attack, short sustain, and dark tonal character. This drumhead also features Level 360 Technology and is available in glass, red, blue, and black. Great sounding heads, always get attention!
Absolutely love the look and feel of these heads. Sound great for low, med-low tuning. Have a big, fat, wet sound to them. I have them paired with Evans EC Resos on my Pearl Vision VX Birch kit. They stay in tune extremely well, even when in and out of changing conditions. I play out a lot, and the venues vary from indoor, to outdoor, small venues, to festivals, etc and they always sound great.

achèté pour tester sur un tom 12 pouces d’un vieille ludwig accent. installation de la peau rapide , serrage aux doigts et ensuite un quart de tour sur chaque tirant ! Gros son rock résonance contrôlée avec sustain court comme il faut pour faire sourire l’ingé son que je suis . mon noise gate fait la tronche et mon equaliser à l’impression d’être là pour rien . plus qu’à acheter pour le reste des fûts

Love these.
Decided to try a couple of these to match the wraps on my Sonor Force kit and Wow! I've been playing drums for 49 years and tried all kinds of skins and makers. These sound amazing. For those that are wary, the colour doesn't come off. In fact, they seem to handle heavy hits better than normal white skins or clear. The tuning was simple too. Tightened the lugs by hand, then one turn of the drum key and I was good to go. I started with my two main toms and have now ordered the rack tom sizes. Will get the 16" floor skin as soon as finances allow. I got a white Remo snare skin but really wish I'd got the red Evans now. They look great and sound amazing. Oh! And they dont need dampening either. Just buy 'em. They're incredible.
