I was wrong. My one criticism was that it didn’t charge once the connected computer was off. But it turns out it does. It was my device that had issues. Don’t know if low powered devices have issues with fast charging inputs. It does work when connected computer is off.Good and stylish and matches with the silver look of my Mac.Recommend

Good USB hub with angled ports for easy use on a desktop. Enough data ports okus 3ea charging ports means efficient use in a small space. Like others have mentioned I did find it slides around a little as used. I installed rubber feet on the bottom, and despite having a glass top desk - it stays in place.

So far not so good. Straight out of the box, the item is well made, yes. It powers on and devices like hard drives connect, yes. But does it run as advertised at USB 3.1 speeds? Hell no. Both my external hard drives connected to the hub right now are only getting a max of 60MBPS which is straight USB 2.0 speeds, where as I'm getting 4 times that when I plug the HDD straight into my computer. Now whether this is because the hub itself doesn't work as advertised, or the cable they send you with it is not the proper cable remains to be seen. I ordered a real USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable to test it out with, so as soon as that comes in, I will test it and see if the speeds go up to where they are supposed to be. If so, then I'll amend my review with a star subtracted for not including a proper cable with it to begin with. But if it stays just as slow, then my 1-star sticks because it's straight false advertising on the capability of this hub.Update: as suspected, there was no change no matter what type or quality of cable I used. Also the support from the seller is abysmal. They contacted me over a month ago, offering a replacement or refund after seeing my review, so I accepted the offer for a refund since I had already gotten a different hub that works properly, and they straight up ghosted me. Not a single response since then other than just trying to kick me around to outside Amazon emails and non existent promises. Obviously this company is one of the many random sellers on Amazon that are just a Chinese tech mill that shell out badly made and inferior products straight out of Shanghai with no actual English understanding support. Best to not waste your money and stay far away from anything from this brand!!

It works as advertised

I purchased the 10 port hub about a year and a half ago and never left a review, so I'm back here today getting one for travel and decided I should give my long-term experience with it. It has been a solid performer since day one and it's still as reliable as it was when I bought it. I run a portable monitor through it, a 2TB external drive, mouse dongle, keyboard, thumb drives, and multi-connection charging cable and it doesn't miss a beat. It just works.It's not tiny compact, but it isn't huge either, especially for having this many ports, and it's very lightweight. It can easily be used for travel and you don't have to worry about not having enough ports. Since it is powered, you can connect a USB portable monitor through it without having to use an extra power cord for it. That is really convenient and it saves me from having to use a USB/USBC adapter from the monitor to my Surface, plus I don't have to use both of the only 2 ports it has.If I had to give a con, I guess it would be that because it's so lightweight, it slides around very easily. It would be better if it had a thick rubber bottom or rubber feet to help keep it in place. It has a really thin rubber strip at each end, but they aren't thick enough to help. It's not a big enough issue for me to count against it, and you can always buy something to add to the bottom if it becomes an nuisance.

The intpw 10-Port Aluminum USB 3.1 HUB (model YH65) that I ordered through Amazon.ca arrived very quickly and within 2 days. The product was well packaged and arrived un-damaged and intact. There is a clear and complete well written instruction booklet (in 6 languages) and the 4 pages of the English language portion has a list of package contents, product diagram, lists specifications, getting started instructions, product care and use tips, and warranty & customer support information. First impressions very favourable: it is well engineered and has provided me with a much better ease of use concerning USB utilization in my workspace. I remain favourably impressed with the quality of the product insofar as the aluminum form factor and features. Since delivery, it has performed very well. Over the past 10 days, I've noticed that transfer rates are fast and reliable. As well there is a noticeable fast charging when items such as my android Samsung smartphone is plugged into either of the two "INT POWER" fast charge port(s). (I am hesitant to use the "Quick Charge 3.0 Charging Port" with my model of smartphone in case of compatibility issues.) When I did reach out to intpw Support to ask a question they responded very quickly (within a few short hours) and provided a complete answer to my concern. As touched on in other reviews, there are 2x USB 3.1 Gen cables about 1 meter in length included (for device compatibility hook-up). That's a nice bonus that covers the bases for the customer so that they can immediately put the product to use for any of their devices. Personally I wish I had acquired this product much sooner. It's really cleaned up my desk and you have no idea how efficient it can be to plug in the USB cables in an upright position, easily accessed, until you've experienced it. The light beneath the USB ports on the top surface is nice to see since it indicates power is flowing perfectly well. I also appreciate that it is powered independently (its own power adapter) so that it can carry the load and not drain any other battery powered sources (such as with a laptop mobile workstation, etc.) It really covers the bases. Kudo's to the product team that came up with this well-engineered USB 3.1 Gen 2 hub. Thank you.

（5/10追記）Amazonのレビューを見て、出品者さんから連絡をいただきました。ものの状態を説明し、写真に撮って送ったところ、新品をAmazon経由で再送していただけるとのこと。せっかくお声がけいただいたこともあり、こちら側でマイナスになることもないのでオファーを受けました。送付先など個人情報を提供することにはなりましたが、新品をすぐに配送いただけました。今度の新品は全く問題はなく、正常動作しております。電源ケーブルも無理せずすんなり入る（ピンが中心に来ていることを確認して接続しなおしました）もので、単なる個体の不良品であることもわかりました。こうしたアフターケアが良いと、安心して購入できるので良いと思います。==========届いた商品をPCに接続するため、電源をつなごうとすると入らない。なんで？？？よく見てみると、本体側の電源のピンが中心にないため、電源ケーブルを接続しようとすると、ピンにぶつかって差し込めない。返品して交換しても同じかもしれないし、面倒だなとおもってピンを少し曲げてみるか？と思ったが硬くて一切動かない。そんなこんなで結局電源ケーブルを少し斜めに入れてから力を入れると何とか接続完了。なんとか使えるようになりました。使用期間がまだ短いので耐久性は不明。接続したSSDの速度なども計測していないので不明ではあるものの、以前はハブの問題で時々見えなくなっていたUSB接続のSSDも安定してPCから認識して使えています。電源の問題がなければ評価はもっと上にしていたと思います。速度も計測してみたかも…。

Perfect product and does what is described. I am pleased with my purchase. It was able to provide power for my thumb drives but I also tried to hookup a USB drive and it is able to run it but not to sustain the connection. After a period of non-use I would get an error saying the drive was disconnected improperly.

USBのポートが多いことと電源対応だったので購入しました。電源部分と本体接続のUSBポートが片方にまとまっていないので場所を選びます。Windows11で使用していますが、タイトル通りでカードリーダーを使用した場合転送中に勝手に切断されて転送が途中で止まります。別のHUB経由では正常に読み込みが終了するので、このHUBの仕様なのか不具合なのかわかりませんが、非常におすすめできません。10/5追記USBメモリーを差し込んだ際にマウスの動作も不安定となりました。電源対応なのですが、電力不足になった時に似た挙動をおこしました。

UPDATE: The warranty and customer service are legit! The brand/seller (intpw) sent out a brand new replacement within days of me reaching out. Review has been updated to 5 stars as they were quick to address my concerns, as well as providing a replacement.Original:Purchased in Jan 2024, and it stopped working today (Aug 2024). The light flashes green, and my computer will not recognize the device.It worked great..while it was working. I have only used 6 out of the 10 slots, and they were all relatively low power peripherals (mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.), so it should not have been an overstress situation.I have reached-out to the seller to see how I can return the unit for a replacement, hope the warranty they offer is legit.
