Cellink-B Dashcam Battery (ver 2.0) – Fast Charge, Long Duration, Small Form Factor
Technical Specifics of my set-up: 1) Blacksys CH200 (firmware version CH_200_3.1.9FW) 2) Cellink-B Dashcam Battery (ver 2.0) hardwired via an Add-a-Fuse connector to one of my cars 7v accessory fuse box circuits I Like: 1) I chose the Cellink-B from BlackBoxMyCar to support the Parking Mode feature of the Blacksys-200 2-Channel dashcam I also bought from BlackBoxMyCar. The Cellink-B dashcam battery capacity is currently x2 that of other dashcam batteries. 2) The YouTube videos created by BlackBoxMyCar presented very helpful information about the risks of supplying power to a dashcam Parking Mode via a hardwired connection to the car battery via the car fuse box (e.g., shortened car battery life, a no-start situation due to insufficient car battery cranking power during cold winter mornings, etc.). This information helped me decide I needed an external dashcam battery to power Parking Mode. 3) The Cellink-B recharges from either a cigarette socket or can be hardwired to an accessory (not powered unless the car engine is running) socket within the car fuse box. I chose the hardwire option. 4) The Cellink-B package supplied by BlackBoxMyCar came with an Add-a-fuse connector, making the hardwiring much easier than having to splice wires. 5) The recharge time is short. I Don’t Like: 1) The battery did not come with a mounting bracket. The package does come with two sets of hook and loop (a.k.a. “Velcro”) fasteners with adhesive on the back. These are to be affixed to the bottom surface of the battery and the opposing loops affixed to some smooth surface inside the car (or car trunk). That would work well for securing the battery to a flat plastic or metal surface but not so great for securing the battery to the finished interior or carpeted floor of a car or truck. Improvement suggestion: Include a clip-on mounting bracket that can be secured to the interior of a vehicle with screws and washers. Alternatively, modify the battery case to include grommets and include zip ties with the battery so that the battery can be affixed to the underside of a passenger seat track. 2) The Blacksys CH200 User manual lacks a wiring diagram for the option to install a dashcam powered by the Cellink-B. Having never hardwired a device into my car, I sought the Blackboxmycar.com do-it-yourself videos on YouTube. What I found was helpful to a limited degree. Improvement suggestion: Quoting the old saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. The User Manual should include a wiring diagram for 1) cigarette lighter to dashcam, 2) hardwire dashcam to car fuse box, 3) hardwire Cellink-B battery to car fuse box and Cellink-B battery wiring connection to female side cigar connector, female side cigar connector to dashcam male cigar connector and dashcam male cigar connector to dashcam power-in port. 3) I don’t understand what these jingle and tone sounds are that the Cellink-B makes at different times. The User Manual isn’t much help as how can one print in words what a sound is like? Even when I do figure out what a given tone might mean, I soon forget their meaning and have to start the learning curve over again. Improvement suggestion: I’d like to see fewer jingles and more audio voice notifications that briefly state the relevant notification information. As a short term alternative, BlackBoxMyCar could produce another of their quality YouTube videos that narrate each of the conditions in which the various tones and jingles occur.

It Works Well
I've had this for about a month and have used it every day in my car. What I really do like about this battery is that it's much smaller than I thought it would be, and it's able to fit quite well with extra room to space in my car's center console arm rest. I use this battery to help keep my dedicated Android Auto "server" in my car powered up, which is a Moto G7 that is rooted and using Sensible Android Auto Xposed (SAAX) to make Android Auto usable by removing Google's restrictions. My car's USB port doesn't provide enough power to the phone to charge it every day and I have the phone mounted in my car which is not easy to remove. When it's about out of power, I simply switch the cable to the Cellink NEO to charge overnight which lasts about four days until the next charge. Because the Android uses a 5V charge, I can get about six or seven full charges out of the Cellink NEO before I have the battery itself, but even that's not an issue. The Cellink NEO charges really quick with the 12V cigarette lighter in my car and it fully charges during my commute to work which isn't very long. So far this setup has worked great for me which is to keep my car's Android powered up at all times so I can access it remotely if I need to, and not worry about power. The only things I did not like was the very short cable to the cigarette connection output on the battery side, and the Bluetooth feels really buggy. I keep getting errors about having to set it up again and again. I have to quit the app's process and restart it just to get the battery's status. Aside from the issues, I rarely look at the battery and it just works. I know this is usually reserved for camera systems, and it's overkill for what I need to use it for, I really do like that the battery is a Lithium-iron (LiFePo4) Samsung. This can better withstand heat from being inside the car, it's really fast charge, and it's a lot more stable than other cheaper Lithium-Ion battery packs I can get. Totally worth it for what I need it for.

Helpful and sturdy , After a year and a half stopped working
2nd Update After about a year of use the cigarette car adaptor was getting so hot that the front metal parts went off and remained in the cigarette lighter socket after removing it. I had to assemble it again and let cool off in order to use it again. I called the company which claimed there was a short. It wasn’t. They also suggested to buy a new cable. Later my cigarette lighter got bad. It was a big job to replace it, I was lucky to find a video on you tube so I did it. Well after a year and a half the unit stopped working. Recently going to my car which is parked in an interior garage I found my windshield cracked, If the unit was working most likely I would knew who did it. The company is very unhelpful. It can be the fault of a lot of things but the only way to get out of it is to buy a new unit according the company. Update: After using it for about 1 month and 20 days, I noticed that using the vantrue pro in parking mode with the gps will give me about 32 hours, again this is based on the Bluetooth application which I don’t know if is reliable 100%, because I never let it drained to 0%. Definitely this is a great alternative to hardwire mode because you can’t drain and recharge the cars battery, it’s not designed to do that, but the Cellink Neo is designed for it. On the other hand egen offers in England a bigger battery, the cellink 9, the one I review is the cellink 6, the 9 is a bigger battery but not offered yet in the USA. I don’t know if is worth it to wait for it. It’s a great unit and supplies the dash cam with power all the time. I am using it for a month and really surprises me the fast charging. I am using the dash cam the most in parking mode (vantrue n2 pro) and the unit is giving me with a 100% charge about 38 hours total. Sometimes I will see 42 hours (especially at the first 10 days), yesterday 5/2/2019 was the first day after about a month to see 38 hours for usage after a full charge. I am using the cigarette lighter for charging which will take about 75 to 80 minutes to charge. I charge it about 2 times per week by driving and just running the car in park and the rest of the days I use an inverter which has a cigarette lighter output. The Bluetooth utility is nice and helpful but sometimes will show a little faster or slower rate of charging. Also two times while I left the cigarette lighter plug connected to the car after starting the car I received a message “warning low voltage” and the plug got very hot. So what I do if I pack the car I disconnect the plug from the car and connect it again after the car is on. It comes with hardwiring cable, female cigarette lighter plug and cigarette lighter plug to be connected to the power input of the unit. For cigarette lighter connection you have to set the button switch to 5 volt while when hardwiring to 9 volts. 9 volt charging takes about the half of the time it takes when plugged to cigarette lighter for charging. The only problem is I still don’t know where to mount it in the car, the passenger seat has no room under it. The unit is well made from black aluminum and looks sturdy.

Worth it
I purchased this on July 9, 2019, along with my thinkware dual-camera system. I had everything professionally installed since I had no interest in installing anything myself. It been working great and keeps my camera working on the days I don't drive that particular car.

Awesome Product out of the box!
Pro's: The kit i ordered had everything to hook up to cigarette light plug or with 3 DUAL-SLOT fuse holder right to the fuse panel. Since I was replacing a dash cam I had already identified the fuse I needed and just replaced the dual slot fuse holder with the new one. The product charges faster then the specs provided. from 3% to full charge was only 16 minuets. With the Rexing V1P Pro dash cam (recording 24/7 on both camera's with setting FHD P30 + FHD P30) i get almost 24 hours of battery from this when I have the screen saver set to 1 minuet. If I leave the screen on i get about 20 hours out of the. Cons... not so much for the product but for mounting in my car... no space under dash or in console between seats. Glove box not an option so It had to go under the seat. Not a fan of it so I made a bracket to mount to my current seat bracket so the device about 2 inches from the floor under the seat. I hope I never get flooded but at least this way if a gallon jug of water or other liquid spills it shouldn't reach the Cellink NEO Battery Pack. Suggestions: if you are thinking of getting one of these look on you-tube for reviews and installs. There are great tips for connecting this and how to test to make sure you put the dual slot fuse holder in the right way.

Unreliable parts
I hardwired the battery to my car. The cigarette adapter that connects to my dash cam power plug was faulty and after a few days stopped working. Impossible to find a spare part. As others have mentioned the battery is inconsistent when charging. Some days it does and some days it doesn't. I also checked that everything is plugged in and secured. This product is unreliable and should be avoided especially given the price point that it sells at.

Another statisfied customer!!
I enjoy this battery pack. It's working great for cell phones. I haven't pushed it hard yet. But it is great for family trips, camping or visiting theme parks when you have no time to plug into a wall. You might not need a great deal of battery power, as it is a bit heavy and carrying it around all day in a backpack can suck. Look into what kind of battery mAh you really need.

You gonna get about a good 9 months to 13 months before its starts to act up.
Good for the first 1-6 months 6-13 months multiple problems with two different batteries. 1. Battery failure 2. Constantly not charging. 3. Working Cingular, when added on battery extender main battery sudden failure. 4. Flimsy wire ports. The cords stop attaching after some months. You have to use tape to hold in place. The warranty process is inconvenient as well. You have to send it to Canada where you have to pay the shipping which is very costly from eastern US.
