Easy to Follow Directions
Purchased for my then 8 year old Granddaughter who was frustrated trying to draw anime without any sort of guidance. This 'how to' book was easy to follow and had her drawing anime characters in no time. She was so happy and very proud of her drawings.

Great Book!
I got this as a gift for a 13 year old teen, and they were super happy with it! The book has a variety of different ways to draw anime characters which they found helpful. It's reasonably priced and perfect to add on with a blank comic book panel book if you can find one. It's great for adults as well, and makes drawing anime and manga style characters demystified.

Helped advance my drawing
I received this book and had the opportunity to use it immediately. I was able to use the start of the book to freehand an amazing head-to-bust figure within the first 30 minutes of its arrival. I am always looking to advance my artistic skills, although, I tended to steer away from figures because, frankly, I am not good at faces. I look forward to using this book in the near future to advance my drawing of faces. The pictures and instructions are easy to follow and as long as you apply yourself and practice, I believe that this would be beneficial for teenagers to adults trying to hone their artistic skills. Not to mention, the ability to create your own manga or comic book in the future. The main objective is to keep practicing, using the instructions and pictures -that is how you hone your skills.
