I'm not sure on that, what iam sure of is, I have severe foot drop on both feet and these safos have been a godsend I've spent hundreds of pounds over the years and tho I have made to measure silicon ones, these ones are great in the summer, they do support and adjust really well and this summer I have had the confidence to wear shorts almost everyday, more than I have ever done so, I certainly recommend also their customer service is excellent, if you don't like them just send them back no quibble.
