Well, physically possible, but the rice comes out better if you use the smaller pot (B092VNBZ55) since the smaller one has better heat conduction to cook less rice. But with the larger pot (B092VQWQXH), you might over cook rice if you just want to cook 1/2 or 1 cup of rice... Hope this will help.
