They are quite chunky due to the gel contained inside, but this does mean they stay cold for a decent amount of time. They felt like good quality and the lining was soft to touch too. I had a full leg one from the hospital but used this once this had become ineffective. Worked well and is not too cold or uncomfortable with the padding.
