Tried this as the well known brand was OOS and I’m so glad I did, it has a great flavour. My new go to for blue corn masa harina!

Awesome corn flour. I make tortillas for my tacos. I chose blue corn because it's the highest in protein and the lowest in carbs of all the corn varieties. It's a weight loss power move. Tortillas are a little more prone to falling part than white corn but it's not too bad if you handle them carefully.Also, thank the heavens it has the E number E529 in it! E529 is calcium oxide aka quicklime. If corn flour does not have quicklime in it, it's NOT masa harina and your tortillas will fall apart. I can't believe someone actually left this a 1 star review because it contains the very ingredient that it must, by definition as masa harina, contain. It's like leaving it a bad review because it contains corn.
