I have had a number of multimeters over the years. Some were quite expensive, and some only a few dollars.I had certain needs when purchasing this item for setting up a solar package, and this was not very expensive.It comes in a nice case, and was not actually hard to close as some have stated. You just needs to know how to pack. It seems to very well made. I haven't dropped it, so I don't know if it is brittle, but seems good.The readout is clear, and dial easy to use.Probably the best quality meter I have owned, but not the most expensive.

Decent tester that I use on the regular. Have had it for several months now- it’s my work meter. I’ve dropped it, kicked it around, smashed it in my tool box and it’s held up well. Only complaints I have, the flashlight quit working after about 2 days and no strap to hang it. A strap is pretty important, so if you guys have one available, please let me know. Wouldn’t mind a larger case as well. Kinda tough jamming everything in there. The price is great and this meter is solid. Update. I kicked it up to 5 stars because this thing still works like a champ. Tried replacing it with an IDEAL meter (that cost about 3x as much), but it constantly picked up ghost voltages/readings. Which can be a problem when your checking an motor that you shut the power down to. It’s scary. So there it is. I work in a factory with some robotics, steel presses, and a ton of various welders and platforms. This thing gets used constantly. I even fried a set of leads and it’s taken it all with out batting an eyelash. This is a real good meter for the loot.

This volt meter has a sound/light alarm, flashlight, automatic backlight and data retention, which is convenient for when you are in a dark environment, it is great to have that feature. After 15 minutes of no operation, it will be automatically turned off to save battery which is also neat because I know that I forget to turn of my meter always!This includes a neat little pretty durable case that is great for carrying your meter and not forgetting it somewhere. It is made of a durable material so you can feel confident it will be fine of you drop it. It is a thickened anti-drop and waterproof tool box that is great to protect your new tool.This digital multimeter tool can test temperature, Frequency, diode, Duty cycle, hFE, continuity and NCV, quickly distinguishing between neutral and live wires very accurately. This has been my go to tool when testing to be sure that there is no live power or that there is continuity. This is really accurate from my use of the tool is works so great you will not want to be spending on a name brand that is much more expensive, this will take care of you no problem. The screen is so bright and looks so crystal clear, I love that it is very easy to read and I had no issues with it. You will need to be sure to read the instruction to use it the way it is intended, once you do that you will be using this like a pro.Overall a great tool that does a great job and will last you, for the time I have had it, it works beautifully with no signs of slowing down.

I usually use a Fluke Multi-tester that I was given from a previous job. It's really nice, well, it's a Fluke... But this one seems to do very well. I noticed that the backlight is automatic, so it only comes on, which switched, when it is dark enough. I am not a fan of automatic lighting since I would rather turn it on and off, but having the backlight is still nice. It also has a flashlight on the back as well, even though I always carry one, having the extra light on the back can come in handy. I also noticed that there are two fuses in the back as well to protect the system when testing ohm loads and such. That is really nice as if they weren't there, a screw up could blow up the tester. It came with batteries and a case. In comparison, it seems to be as accurate as my other meters. Now, if I did electrical work as my 8-5, I would go with Fluke, but for the person who needs to test things often, but not constantly, I'd go with this...

Easy to read and you can use back light if you need.

I have several and they are a bit too delicate for electrician/HVAC job-site work. My electrician green brand RMS finally gave it up after over 10 years. When I saw the dimensions here, I figured it was made in the same factory. It certainly looks, feels and operates like the green electrician's name brand. The ruggedized instrument and the standup case is a job site necessity for me. In spec results when tested on the bench with an in cert programmable PS.I have upgraded the leads. If it is the same, it's an excellent value for TRMS.

I'm not an electrician and neither is my husband, but our sprinkler system stopped working after a storm a few months ago and our lawn was dying due to the lack of watering. We knew we needed to fix it ASAP. We weren't really sure what was wrong so we got this (after watching a YouTube tutorial) to check if the control panel was still registering voltage. After a quick check, we realized it was the panel itself that was fried. We ordered the panel (open box) from Amazon and replaced it ourselves. The entire process was much cheaper than if we had to pay a professional. It will be nice to have this stashed away in case of future electrical issues.

This is much better than my name brand unit which shall remain nameless. The settings alone far exceed my other unit, the digital display is larger for better readability. The fact it comes in its lown little case and brings its batteries alone makes it a much better value.The unit has the capacity to test everything in your house and your car with audible and visible alarm with backlight allowing it to be used at night. The unit feels sturdy and well made the minute you pick it up. Really impressed with it, comparable to the industry top brands, at a much greater value. I definitely recommend it!

Llevo más de un año con el, principalmente lo utilizó en instalaciones residenciales y todo bien, da bien las lecturas, se siente de buena calidad y trae su estuche para protegerlo.

Me encantó, se ve de muy buena calidad y al tacto se siente de muy alta gama, además la función de medir capacitancia es excelente, lo compare con un medidor de impedancias y la diferencia es de apenas 1 o 0.5 micro farads

El multímetro tiene varias funciones las cuales considero muy importantes para tener mediciones en relación a voltaje, corriente, resistencia, medición de diodos, continuidad por medio de un buzzer. Considero que es muy útil para quién se dedique a la electrónica a nivel profesional y también a nivel principiante. Recomendable por costo-beneficio.
