Old school printing
This is a rock solid printer. We use 3 of these in USB mode to print different multi-part forms. They do wear out but for the most part are solid device. Maintenance is key for longevity because of the paper feed etc.

Blast from the Past
It's noisy, clunky and not particularly fast. But it prints my pin-feed checks just fine and has a driver that works for Win7. The vendor I purchased it from threw in several extra ribbon cartridges. That's appreciated; they will probably outlast me.

Print tattoo transfers!
This thing is fantastic! I bought it to print out clearer tattoo stencils and it does the job perfectly. I highly recommend this to all the tattoo artists out there still using thermal transfers.

Very pleased
Great printer so far for a very good price!!! We were concerned that the printer would not take regular paper, but only paper "holes" on the sides. However, we are able to print work savers and labels, including regular types of paper.

Unreliable label printing
I purchased this pricey dot matrix printer five months ago to print book labels for our church library. Sometimes it works without a glitch and other times I have to keep experimenting to find a way to make it work. I waste labels and time whenever it doesn't perform correctly. My old Okidata was great, but it finally gave out, forcing me to find a replacement. If you are needing this printer for labels, be sure you follow the instructions carefully. Also, I have found it helps to quit my library program and unplug and replug the printer before I even try to print. It is frustrating. There just don't seem to be that many good dot matrix printers available for printing labels.
