Like everyone I wish better thinking could be as easy ...
Very little fluff here, all meat and bones. Like everyone I wish better thinking could be as easy as learning a few tricks. Spoiler alert, it's not. They don't exist. Instead, learn like einstein gives you an incredibly huge list of techniques to think better. It is a HUGE list. This is only bad for me right now because they are all new to me and the farthest thing from habits which makes them difficult. I really loved the little bits about einstein and his thought experiments.

Good read
Good read, a little confusing first. Once understood. It became better. I do recommend the book. Interesting to learn more than you think when you read it.

Overall a mixed bag.
There are some very practical boots in the middle, which are laid out very concisely. For example, the prescription for spaced repetition is excellent. There are a number of things that feel a quite meandering that don't seem to come to a nice point. The distinctions between the different parts of the systems if thought feel a bit muddled at points. The descriptions of the different logical fallacies are pretty approachable, though sooner of the examples are too trivial to flesh out the more subtle distinctions. My largest complaint is the often contradictory advice is not prescribed specifically enough. The author could do more to make clear that one must never use unrelated ideas and consequences when evaluation evidence and arguments, but that this can be appropriate when searching for new creative solutions to problems. The advice is in different chapters, but there is no mention of the fact that we had been told I'm a previous chapter that these practices are examples of unclear thinking to be avoided at all costs. While I have significant issues with some of the presentation, the underlying concepts in the book are quite good. If you're willing to reorganize it in your mind, and make sure you know when to apply the different bits, there is a lot of good stuff in there.

Einstein himself would approve
Easy to find tips to apply to my life which is my measure of a book. Does it make me think after I read it, will I remember it, and will I be able to use anything from it? TLE checks all the boxes.Spoiler alert... the riddles at the beginning and end of the book made me feel really silly for not realizing the answers. Just goes to show there are different ways of thinking outside the box, and you'll learn many here.

Some good insights
It's a practical book with ways to improve thinking with ideas that were backed up by research. But it's an easy read and to the point without going into a lot of fluff like back stories and biographies of the research.

it's like the book gives you homework because there is so ...
it's like the book gives you homework because there is so much more to think about, but as the author says it is often the right questions that are more important because they point us in the right direction. think smart is HARD!

Very helpful
The book is an excellent guide for somebody who does not want to get immersed into heavy and time consuming psychological volumes. It helped me to recognise the rigidity of my thinking.

Dont expect to think like Einstein by the end of the book...but maybe you get some insights.
Particularly I found the book pretty simplified. However it is important to note that I have a scientific background and the whole purpose of the book is to try to encourage pleople to think more critically and more like a scientist. Therefore anyone with deep knowledge of the scientific methodology would not find anything new this book. Maybe it can help those who wants to know a bit more how to think more pragmatically. But dont expect in deepth concepts everything is discussed veru superficially
