Sturdy but needs work
The construction is sturdy and good quality with a tight fit to reduce wear on the usb-c socket on the ipad. Only reason this is getting a 3 star is that even with the switch turned off my battery drains alot faster. By the time i got home and was able to actually try it the return window closed. If you plan on keeping your ipad near a power cable then this case is great. If you plan on working on the go, maybe reconsider.

Very solidly built, well-machined, and worth the money
Okay, so this cover/hub for my iPad was pricey, but its quality and value really do show. With the exception of the Loya Ark logo on the hub, it could have been made by Apple as an iPad accessory. The pencil charges. The iPad charges through the charging port. I can charge up the iPad overnight, then use one short magnetic cable to switch between my keyboard, mouse, and phone during the day if they need a little topping up. I typically keep the cable plugged into my mechanical keyboard.I'd written a much longer review that somehow got blitzed, so I'll try to remember what I said. The cover is like those accordion-style covers on a lot of lower-end cases in terms of how it functions, but it is vastly superior in terms of the materials and stability. When put into the triangular stand, the magnetic attachment to the rest of the case is very strong. No floppiness here! I love how you can just remove the "flap" of the cover if you want to, leaving only the metal tank-like case that holds your iPad secure via two locking mechanisms. (Watch the product video; you'll be impressed.)I have an elevated magnetic stand that my iPad adheres to, but it will not work with this case; the stand's magnet is not strong and/or has its fields in the wrong direction to work with this Loya Ark case. When I've got the case sitting flat on my lapdesk, propped on its own stand, it sits a little lower than my keyboard so it's harder to swipe up to access my apps unless the keyboard is positioned far enough away from the case. I've got another stand coming that I hope this Loya Ark case will fit into nicely, because I'd rather use the case than not.The ports on the hub work well. I've only found one cheaper cable that doesn't fit snuggly into the hub, and that's a problem with the cable, not the hub. There is only one USB 3.0 port, which I'm using for my red charging cable, but my USB-C to USB 3.0 adapters fit well and allow for extra ports should I need them for transferring data from thumbdrives, my primary use. There has been room for everything I've plugged into this hub so far.Being an Apple user is costly, but Apple products feel so much more solid to me than anything else I've ever worked on. It's wonderful to have a hub that's equally solid, that fits in seamlessly into the ecosystem, and just works.

Almost the perfect accessory for your iPad Air/Pro
This Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub for iPad Pro 11 measures 11.02" x 7.24" x 0.51" and weighs one pound. The case is made of aviation-grade aluminum and comes with a magnetic smart cover. Combined, the aluminum case and magnetic cover, deliver 360-degree protection to the iPad.I used this Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub for iPad Pro 11 for close to 2 months, using it mostly as my daily driver for my M1 iPad Pro. The case protects my iPad Pro well while ensuring a dongle is always ready to expand the functionality of my iPad. While most people are fine using Airpods, Beats, or other Bluetooth listening options, I prefer the zero-latency, high-fidelity experience you can only achieve with hardwired, audiophile-grade cans. Apple stripped that functionality away from my M1 iPad Pro and the only way to get it back is through a dongle like this one from Loya Ark.What I liked most about the Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub for iPad Pro 11 was:- The USB C hub. There are tons of USB C hubs on the market for the iPad Pro but the implementation of this one is top-notch. Not only is it integrated within the body of an aluminum case, but it also has an on/off button to save power. The hub itself offers an HDMI connection that offers 4k@60 resolution playback, 2-USB C ports with one offering USB 3.0 data transfer speeds (5gbps) while the other offers 100-watt power delivery. There are also full and micro SD card slots, a USB A 3.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.- 360-degree protection when needed. Immediately after purchasing a device, I install a skin to the back of the device, a screen protector to the front, then slap it in a case. I liked that this has a removable cover. Not only does this cover protect the screen and double as a stand, but when I am using my iPad on an external stand I can remove the cover altogether so it isn't in the way.- Aesthetic. This case is made of aviation-grade aluminum and is minimalist meaning it has clean, sleek lines that fit with the iPad's aesthetic. What I liked least about this Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub for iPad Pro 11 was:- Rear logo cutout. The cutout that is designed to display the Apple Logo is much larger than it needs to be, at least in my humble opinion. Additionally, I do not think there's a need for this cutout at all. I am not sure why manufacturers of Apple cases feel a need to display the Apple Logo. It makes cases structurally weaker, unnecessarily creates an additional entry point for dirt and debris, and allows potential thieves or hackers to quickly identify your device.- No DAC on the headphone jack. I would have given this hybrid case and stand from Loya Ark a 5-star rating had there been a DAC built into the headphone jack.Overall, if you have the M1 iPad Pro (or a new iPad Air) and are in the market for accessories for your device then this Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub deserves a good deal of consideration. This Loya Ark Case with 7-in-1 USB C Hub offers a sleek case that offers 360-degree protection thanks to the aviation-grade aluminum build and the detachable magnetic cover. You can even expand the functionality of your iPad with the included dongle. Though the dongle is thoughtfully crafted with expansion options to port out the video, add storage via SD Cards, charge your device, or simply transfer data I used this Loya Ark Hybrid Case most often for enjoying zero-latency movies and videos. 4.0 out of 5.0.
