I had never tried Sumac before so I have no comparison for this product against any other. I like the complexity of the flavour it imparts, the refreshing tartness, its smell when added to marinades, stuffings, stews and roasts. it imparts colour. I like making a herbal tea combining it with dried mint and cinnamon, this is good hot or chilled on ice. You can use it quite sparingly so this decent size tub will last quite a while, making it seem less expensive.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Exactly as I expected. It's a bit of an acquired taste but it is lovely in copied Turkish style salad ..Definitely well but again

Great quality and quantity. Good flavour.

This is my first time trying add Sumac and I have to say it's great considering the health benefits it can add to your meals. I use it on many things such as sprinkling on salads. As a dry rub for meat. In yoghurt. This has a light slightly bitter and citrus taste but nothing overpowering or unpleasant so it can be used on pretty much everything savoury or sweet.
