I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try. It includes a very small container that takes up very little space making it convenient to take to the washteria. I unwrapped and tried a pod on a load of my husband's greasy work clothes and was very pleasantly surprised to find that they came clean. Worked just fine on our regular clothes too. I used them in warm water and had no issue with them not dissolving or rinsing clean. These are unscented which is good for anyone with allergies and /or sensitive skin. At the price I paid ($5.00) they are a very good value for the money and it comes in a cute little container. I'm ordering more as it is a natural product and safe for my husband's sensitive skin. There is a purchase limit of 3 at this price. Refills are about $9.00.

These left bits of detergent all over my clothes. I read the directions and made sure I was using it right. I tried several times and each time got the same result where I had to rinse my laundry a second time. Gave up and tossed them. Sad really because I love the idea.

I am trying to reduce plastic and chemicals in my life. This detergent is great for that. However, the lack of scent was unappealing... I like my laundry to come out smelling fresh. I smelled the laundry to see if it at least had no smell rather than bad smells after washing , but unfortunately some items still had a bit of unwanted odor. I think the concept is great but needs some work. Maybe if they sell scented pods in the future I’ll try it again. I know a lot of others prefer the unscented so they should certainly keep that option. I cut the pouch off because I had read several reviews here saying they do not dissolve in cold water. Everything dissolved fine in cold water without the pouch at least. But then I’m not sure if it should be recycled or trashed.

My boyfriend and I are trying to make the switch to all cruelty-free products, and I have to say, laundry detergent pods have been one of the most difficult things to find yet. I've been hesitant to switch because we really do need a good detergent due to the fact that my boyfriend is a car guy whose clothes are constantly black and metallic-smelling. However, I was pleasantly surprised with these non toxic pods! Some detergents I've tried fail to eliminate that nasty metallic smell on his clothes, but that isn't the case at all with these. They work great as far as cleaning and smell awesome which is a huge bonus for us. Even his grungiest clothes come out smelling amazing with only one Cleancult pod! Even if cruelty-free isn't a must for your household, I would still highly recommend these awesome nontoxic laundry pods. I can't stress enough how awesome they make the clothes smell. Also, the bag was a lot bigger than I expected so that was exciting too. All around, this is a great product and you're not sacrificing anything with buying these.

Though the non-toxic concept is nice, these do not dissolve in the wash at all, and as a result I get a bunch of white chunks all over my clothes and all in the dryer. This has happened multiple times. I'm going back to tide pods.

My SO is a stone mason, I'm the shipping department for a company that sells material used for drug tests. He gets dirty in the conventional sense, I get box dirt, tape goo, and grease on my clothes ...and we both have skin that is sensitive to soaps and scents. This laundry detergent gets our clothes clean, doesn't smell (the fragrance-free version) and absolutely works well in cold water.Added bonus, I absent-mindedly left a load of towels in the washer for two days after they had been washed. Normally they would have been stinky and require washing again- nope, they smelled great. Popped them right in the dryer and they are clean and soft, ready to go.Great product!(Can you make shampoo next?!)
