SlipDoctors Extra Grip Clear – Anti-Skid Additive for Outdoor and Indoor Surfaces Including Paint, Metal, Wood, Fiberglass, and Concrete – Anti-Slip, High Traction Additive for Paint and Coatings

Works as advertised.

Worked great on indoor hardwood stairs. Applied 4 coats of clear water based polyurethane floor finish and used this clear extra grip additive in the 5th coat (approximately 10 dry weight grams per 8 oz of liquid). As stated, this product didn't change the color or general appearance of the wood. It adds a slight grainy texture where applied, which is the anti slip mechanism. Walking up and down the stairs in stockings is much safer.

Transformed an unusable pool deck into a slip resistant deck. Used base coat within the acrylic sealant and the top coated with a hopper spray gun. Phenomenal result and you’re not going to slip after that!

This went into the paint smoothly and the added texture does it's job well. I put it on my front steps and have received several compliments as to it's meeting it's function of nonslip security.

Doesn’t take a lot to get the non skid finish. Test it first in different quantities. Too much and it’s pasty. A little goes a long way.

Mixed this with a clear waterproof coat as 2nd coat for a new deck. Not visible at all once down and dried. However you can feel the product apparently doing its job! Deck not slippery when wet from rain and very hopeful! Will update once we get snow and see if its going to work for shoveling! But so far appears very hopeful!

This is a great additive. It dries clear, and adds just the right amount of texture to create traction.

It was hard to figure out how much to use

Worked excellent, great traction on stairs and as advertised transparent, you can see it though it looks like salt on the steps. Product looks like fine glass beads that would be put in a blast cabinet but much lighter possibly a plastic. Personally I think the price is too high I am sure someone is making a killing off this stuff, too much greed. That is why I gave it only 4 stars
