Awesome Product!
Our 2 year old is obsessed with bows and arrows. His favorite book is a book about castles and knights. We read it every night. Also, his Dad and I both enjoy archery, especially through our play in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism - medieval reenactment group.) So, we really wanted to get him a little bow and arrow set that would actually WORK for Christmas. I did quite a bit of research and landed on this gem.Our little guy has been playing with it for about 2 weeks now and he's gotten quite good! He is able to insert the arrow through the bow hole (such an ingenious design), knock the arrow, draw back, and fire away completely independently. Right now, he's not even trying to hit anything or get it to stick to anything. He's just practicing firing and he will keep at it for a very long time. The bow and arrows come with us in the car, to bed, and everywhere else. The arrows are surprisingly sturdy despite their slender size. He's been pretty rough with them - sometimes using them as drumsticks on the floor or table - and they've withstood the abuse just fine. He has deliberately stuck the arrows to a hard surface with his hand, so the suction cups do stick, but I can't speak to them sticking from a bow-firing yet.The sizing of this product has worked very well for us. Our son is on the small side for his age. He's almost 2.5 and he's under 3' tall and only 24 lbs. This product has been the perfect introduction to archery for him. It's a great value, well-designed, appropriately sized, quite sturdy, and it works! I couldn't be more pleased!

These are very cute. The suction cups however were not glued to the arrow posts so in trying to pull off the arrows from the board, the stick would come off and the suction cup would stay. Glue solved the issue. Also the webbing at the handle on the bow itself began unwrapping. Again, glue solved the issue.

Fun toy, but will come apart easily
My kids loved these. My main complaints: some of the arrows were warped. I get that it’s just a toy, and they over time the wood naturally warps, but it does limit some usability of the product. My biggest gripe is that the grip/handle, which is paracord simply wrapped around the mid-section of the bow, came off immediately. Since it’s just a small rope, it instantly came off due to being only loosely fastened to the handle. This happened with both bows.Otherwise, this is a fun toy. After using a hot glue gun to wrap the handle and fasten the rope, my kids had a blast.

Kids loved it after an easy modification
I wanted to teach my grandkids archery, so I thought it prudent to start small before working them up to a bigger bow. I bought a set for each kid, and even after repeated warnings not to shoot each other with arrows even though they're suction cups, what do they do? Anyone with grandkids knows the answer. And then everything in the house had suction marks on it where they were licking the cups first. I thought my wife Hazel was going to kick me out. I had to think fast, and I could;t just take them away. I'd have five whining kids ruining my day. I realized the best way for kids to learn a lesson is the hard way. I removed the suction cups and epoxied thumb tacks on the ends. Then I kicked everyone out in the backyard. Let me tell you, it did't take long for them to learn not to shoot at each other. There were a few brief tears, but everyone got to keep having fun. And I'll tell you what, there are no more squirrels or birds getting into my garden now. The kids can't get enough. They're like cats! Nothing makes it out of the yard alive.5 UNTOUCHED TOMATO PLANTS = 5 STARS

Fell apart almost immediately
I bought this for my 2-year-old who's obsessed with bows. I chose this one because it looked simpler and more realistic than the neon green plastic one he had before. He doesn't even actually shoot it, he just runs around pretending to shoot it. I was pleased when I first took it out of the package because it was cute and perfectly sized for him, and he immediately loved it. Unfortunately, the black wrapping came off within a single day, and then the wood started to separate. In a day or two, it's just going to be a single piece of wood with a plastic string. At least it came with two, but I'm sure the second one will fall apart just as fast. I can't see paying $23+ for something that falls apart within a matter of days. Definitely wouldn't purchase again.

Good price and sturdy, but lacks quality and finish.
Get two bows, appears to be bamboo, with black nylon cord wrap for handles. String is synthetic, guitar string type, not to too thin so good there as it won't hurt fingers. You get 8 arrows with suction tips, suction tips are good, arrow shaft is strudy, but I didn't like the notch design or the design of the bow in general. Arrow is "knocked" by pushing it through a hole, so kind of awkward and not easy to aim. And the notch is just cut into the end of the arrow and not reinforced, so don't look like they will last. Main problem is however for a toy/kid bow, there are a lot of rough areas that haven't been sanded down or some kind of finish applied to it. Possibility of splinters are real plus the ends of the string that are tied off aren't trimmed or "capped" some how, so very pointy, 1/4 inch length of stiff piano wire is sticking out. Very real danger of penetrating skin! I'm an adult with pretty sturdy hands and small pressure in the right direction hurt, so I never actually let my daughter play with this. I didn't return it because I felt like I could sand this down and apply a little finish, plus hot glue gun the string ends and tape it down to make a usable toy. Probably not the smartest decision, since I keep acquiring these little improvement jobs...So, if you are looking for an out of the box play toy for your child, I would not recommend this.
