I bought 5 Defenders Mushroom Supplements for Cat & Dog. My mid-age English Shepherd have been suffering with dry and cracked skin on her nose. Some days, it was oozing and I saw open wound. I tried everything, including three visits to different vets and prescribed expensive ointments. In the picture my dog’s nose, DAY 2 of taking mushrooms. Annie’s nose is wet, cold and healing! A miracle that I have been waiting for over two years!Her breath doesn’t stink anymore. Additionally, the same day, I got the mushrooms, my mom’s cat was constantly running to the litter box to pee. I got pretty rapid results using this company’s Lion’s Mane for dogs product so I started investigating their other products in more detail and came upon the Reishi mushroom for dogs. It immediately interested me as our 14 year old mixed breed seems to have symptoms of Cushing’s with chronic ear and urinary infections. She’d been on antibiotics for at least 2 months which seemed to only keep them at bay without really resolving the issues. Within 2 weeks of going on the Reishi capsules, both the blood in her urine and her constant ear and head shaking were gradually but quite obviously going away. It’s been over 3 weeks now and both issues seem to have magically resolved. I was so shocked and pleased to see how quickly the mushrooms went to work. Between the Lion’s Mane and the Reishi, she is much healthier, stable and her overall mood has improved tremendously. She is elderly but these mushrooms really seem to aid in the aging process so she’s aging comfortably and in good spirits. What more can I ask for? Highly recommended.

Too soon to know if it will help my dog's skin issues. I can't answer the review questions because my dog won't tell me if he likes the flavor or not. I asked him several times but he ignores me. LOL. I sprinkle it over his food, so I have no clue if he would swallow them easily or not.

The dogs seem to love it.

I wish this product came in powder form vs capsules. It’s a pain breaking the capsules open to mix in my dog’s food. When your dog weighs 100+ lbs, and requires numerous daily supplements, it becomes a real challenge to get them all in.

Using for my 10 year old Golden. Seems to have more energy. Tolerating very well. Hoping to boost her immune system

I have a Pom (2 years old) who is my baby.I’ve deep researched into all of the best supplements for dogs health and this is one of them. I simply open the capsule and sprinkle it on top of his morning meal along with a pump of salmon oil, his cranberry & multivitamin. Mushrooms are scientifically proven to significantly reduce the chances of a number of various health conditions. I will continue with this supplement and I’ll also be trying the human version for myself.
