Huion A3 Light Box for Tattoo Tracing - AC Powered

I am glad I purchased this brand of light table as it's of excellent quality and easy to use once I got the hang of the variable light settings which are made through the on/off button. It was a little heavier than expected but is extremely portable and solid. I have found it perfectly capable of being bright enough to penetrate all of the art papers I've placed on top of it so far, watercolor in particular, and my primary intended use was for copying or enlarging existing images for reproduction and incorporation into other pieces of artwork. I could do this as easily with my Wacom Cintiq, but this type of tablet gets quite warm, uses a good deal of energy, and is expensive for this purpose. Using a light table such as this will free me from my desk to work more easily and save wear and tear on this pricey product! Ruler markings on the edges of the table are a handy inclusion.I purchased a second clip for this table not knowing it came with one, but that's okay, it never hurts to have a spare. I will not be reviewing it separately as I will cover that here. It's not like a binder clip at all but slides on the edge of the table and has a protective strip so as not to scratch the plastic. You need to slide paper underneath the clip and I do not believe you can place thick or several pieces of paper under it easily. This is where a separate clip might come in handy. I have also purchased large binder clips which I've modified with thin self-adhesive felt along the contact inside edge to protect the table. This will allow me to combine and compose more than one piece of art into one.The reason I went with this particular company is that I know they make quality digital art tablets for compositing which rival Wacom at an affordable price point! It's because of the research I did on other products by Huion that I felt confident in this purchase. It gets great review ratings as does this light table, and with good reason... it's deserved. I'm giving it a thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking for a nicely made product of this nature. You may spend a little more for it, but remember that the cheap often reveals itself to be expensive in the long run. Keep up the great work Huion, I can see your company is working to offer quality at reasonable pricing which helps the home artist, and this touches my heart in a very good way.

I'd been looking into buying a light board for ages but couldn't justify it until recently. I went back to Amazon to confirm which model/brand I wanted, and noticed this one, which hadn't been listed before. There were only three reviews at the time, and it looked much more promising then any others I had considered, so I went ahead and ordered it. I am glad I did! This board is very large, sleek, and solidly built. It takes just a bit of getting used to when it comes to adjusting the light with the power button, but all in all it's wonderful. Easy to store, easy to use, and it's been extremely instrumental in allowing me to make better line art. The only downside is that the power cord is a tad bit short, so I have to use an extension cord as my desk is a little too far away from an outlet.

Fabulous light box. Easy to use and very good light! I am taking watercolor lessons, and while I continue to do my value study sketches freehand, I wanted a light box to be able to draw my sketch onto the watercolor paper without much erasing. This light box makes that possible. I love it!

As an illustrator, I'm quite aware of the main competitors on the market. I had been eyeing them up for months, but was disappointed in the high price point for such a small light table/pad. Then I found this. It was more than $50 LESS than competitors and it's massive! This is GREAT for anyone wanting to work large (or small) and the LED light is beautiful. I have sensitive eyes, so I was concerned this would irritate them but it hasn't been a problem at all. It's large, but compact. Super thin, but durable. Beautiful to look at and over all just an impressive product. I highly recommend this to any artist over the competitor ANY day.

Absolutely amazing piece of technology! Low profile and lightweight it's very easy to work with. Easily one of the best light tables on the market and worth every penny. Don't waste your time looking at craft stores and getting stuck with outdated tech from the 1990s. This is a must have for any serious artist.Only negative critique is the box it came shipped in was absolutely destroyed. It was only held closed by threads in the tape, I half expected the product to be gone. I don't blame the seller, something must have happened in transit. If anything it was a testament to how well the product was packaged in the manufacturer's box and how durable the technology is. Nothing was damaged!

My wife has had this light box for three months now and absolutely loves it. It's huge and very bright and the light even dims to your liking. It's extremely thin. I really can't speak more highly of this light box. If you need a light box get this light box. It had a very large surface to work on too. It's perfect. Great brand, great price; do it.

It's been a few weeks and so far it works great. Thinner and larger than my previous Artograph lightpad, and for half the price. I'd say the brightness is about the same as Artographs, maybe slightly brighter on max settings. The adjustable brightness is a nice touch too. It's bright enough to see through 8 sheets of 32lb copy paper, or 2 sheets of bristol board.There is a con. The power input is a little notch which does leave the power cord exposed to risk of being bent while inside the unit. Poor design in that area.

This is a cheap hunk of junk. It got the job done though, for a short bit. Sadly, it decided to stop lighting up today. I can't get in touch with the seller for a replacement or a return. Poor product, poor customer service.
