When I got serious and decided to build my own pedalboard from the ground up I did a lot of in-depth research on pedalboard materials, layouts, specs, etc. I came across Chemistry Design Werks' Holeyboard. Comparing it to all of the others I looked at made in the US and abroad - some of which are really good - I liked and was impressed with the Holeyboard: The design and open feel of the board that allows you to create a flexible layout that suits your needs, and your feet; the material - Aircraft grade aluminum; the curved deck to store power supply below, elevate pedals above; the simple zip-tie concept - easy switching pedals in/out, and no need for velcro, which can damage the paint on your pedals. I emailed Chris (the owner/designer) with some misc questions (rapid response btw) and bought the WIDE Holeyboard. The Holeyboard has been EVERYTHING I thought and hoped it would be. The WIDE is meant to hold up to 12 pedals. You'll notice mine holds 15 (sorry re the dark pic, but you get the idea), and could/will hold more. It's a top-flight product made in the USA in Minnesota. I just ordered the custom hard case as well. Get it, you won't regret it. Plus, it just looks cool!
