Alter Eco | Chocolate Bars | Pure Dark Cocoa, Fair Trade, Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten Free (12-Pack Dark Quinoa Crunch)

This is one of our favorite chocolates. It is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the last bundle we ordered had melted prior to delivery and then evidently been put back in a cooler environment. It was discolored and a bit chalky. It is a wonderful bar, but unless you can get it in a cooling package, I wouldn't order it in the summer.

This is the 2 nd summer order I’ve placed with this company. The first time I tried to rtn, it wasn’t allowed. I thought maybe they’d get there summer keep it cool act together but no. I have ordered choc this summer from 3 other companies and all products arrived fresh & dark & tasty! It’s not like I have $ to throw away.

I almost didn’t buy these because of a review that said they were old and stale. I’m so glad I bought these here because I saved money. They do expire in 4 months, but it won’t take me 4 months to eat these. Again, they taste great & are of great quality just like the store!

These are delicious if you have a sugar-free diet but want something sweet: however, I've been on a keto diet for ten years, so these may not be sweet for anyone who hasn't eliminated almost all sweet foods. The current price of $70 is also ridiculous. I've found another more reasonable source and will not purchase again on Amazon unless the price goes down to around $50. (Since these are an occasional treat, I don't mind spending $5 or so per bar.) Do not order these during the summer if you live in hot weather!

We love alter ego and this bar, that gets 5 stars but the service on here is currently subpar and began three next travels where we won't be taking the bars now that we can't eat them will have to follow up... SaysProduct not eligible for return/refund and we leave on trip in less than an hour. Only realized it when packing as chocolate is primarily a gift for friend. Very sad. Ordered this chocolate, our favorite chocolate, for a friend who also loves it, special. However received a product ee didn't order, the toffee bars in a full case with milk which two out of three and the most special person can't eat. A whole box. Just sad and annoyed and confused by the current looks of being unable to get help. Might be amazon and not alter ego but hopefully we will get help.....unfortunately our friend will now need to wait at least 4 months for our next trip to see her.

I have ordered several of these multi-packs as it is a favorite. I can't believe this cacao is 90% dark chocolate as there isn't the bitterness commonly noted in such a dark chocolate. The mint flavor is in the perfect consistency. This cacao is qualitatively different on the tongue. The bars come in good integrity even in the heat of the summer.

High content cacao. Packaged with cold packs so no melting! Will buy again.
