"OMG!!" I'LL SAY IT AGAIN "OMG!!" I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS CD...THIS HAS TO BE "ONE OF THE OBVIOUS BEST" CONTEMPORARY GOSPEL ALBUMS I AM SO HAPPY TO NOW OWN AND CALL ALL MY OWN. LEXI OR "ALEXIS ALLEN" AS CREDITED ON ALBUM CREDITS IS SUCH AN AMAZING SINGER/SONGWRITER!! HER CHOPS HAVE TO MAKE HER ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS OF ALL TIME!!! "NO I'M NOT JOKING!! SHE REALLY IS TALENTED...PRAISE THE LORD!! AT LEAST; IF YOU HAVE YOUR DOUBTS FIND HER SONGS SOMEWHERE AND LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY AND I'M SURE YOU WILL DO JUST THAT!! DON'T MISS OUT!!

I've heard this cd before, when I first got it at the library. I loved it. Then someone took it. My favorite songs are all about you, conversation, don't cry, closer, celebrate, i'm a winner and that's how I know. Go lexi!

This is a wonderful tape that I picked out and I enjoyed it!!

Nothing to say but good things about Lexi and her anointed voice. Get this album and add to your collection. You will not be disappointed.

"Lexi...and That's the Way It Is," is a stellar CD. From the first track to the last I was amazed at the growth in Lexi's voice and the diversity of the styles of this work. Sure it's contemporary. Sure it has a soulful/hip-hop beat, but Lexi can touch you from your heart to your feet. I was picked up by tracks like "Higher" and "I'm a Winner". I was lead to think about choices I make with "Conversation." And my heart was touched when I heard "Love Enough." Not only does Lexi shine, but her guest ministers of music are amazing, and her callobrative partners in writing these songs were clever and annointed. I won't lie, it had been a while since I purchased a Gospel CD, but I hunted for this CD when it came out, and was not disappointed at all. If your looking for a wonderful time in God, with a talented rising Gospel-Diva, then this is a must have.

If you like Urban Contemp. Gospel this is the CD for you! It's a wonderful mix of upbeat and easy listening. If you have children, or are involved with teaching children (i.e. Youth Group or Sunday School) - They will love it!

This girl is anointed and appointed to fulfil the will of God. I recommend this album for anyone. Plus she's even better live Lexi keep up the good work. Peace!
