Rubicon Express REA1017 Skid Plate

Well made and pretty easy to install especially if you have a saw-zall to remove the old skid (the stock one) covering the Evap canister. Otherwise you ahve to unhook the hoses and the wires. What I did not care for on this unit is that there is no hole to hook the canister to the skid plate like the stock one has and what ends up happening is that the canister is tied down with some zip tie combination as that bolt does not exist. I could drill a hole to hook it up but I shouldn't have to do that IMO. I wouldn't buy this in the first place had I known. I will need to fix that when I have more time. Half hour install as it is but triple that since I have to undo what I have done and drill a hole in it. The unit looks and feels strong though 4x thicker than the stock unit and I expect to never have to replace it as it is tough durable construction. The rest of the skids I have from Rubicon Express have been offroad on rocks 2x and only have scratches without any dents thus far.
