I expected these to have a hidden Message like other items that say "Hidden Message" In the item pics, it shows a Medic alert symbol on some of the bands. Then on the other bands it reads Type 1 Diabetic. In my wanting this item, I thought they were like other Hidden Message bands. Twist the band to reveal info on the inside. To be clear, The Medic alert symbol outward, then the Hidden Message on the inside the would read Diabetic type 1.This is 6 bands that have the Medic alert symbol, with no message hidden inside.Then another 6 bands that read Type 1 Diabetic, with no Hidden Message inside.Two different band styles, 6 of each, No Hidden Message to be found. They are Black, and I wanted Black.The other Hidden Message bands with a true Hidden Message were Reds and Yellow,I wanted Black. However, the Medic alert symbol bands here, do not inform anyone why you have it on in an emergency. I was hoping for the medic alert symbol to be on the visible outside. And when turned, would reveal the Hidden Message inside to inform of the diabetic situation. I sort of have no use for the 6 Medic alert symbol bands. They carry no helpful information in an emergency. So my choice is to use the 6 labeled Type 1 Diabetic with useful info while advertising a condition. I end up feeling it isn't listed well. I ordered two sets. One for me and one for my son. They are Black, the 12 I kept say the info necessary in an emergency.The other 12 with just the Medic alert symbol, I tossed them out, useless to me or anyone for pointed guided help. No Hidden Message on these. 😳
