2024 purchase on-offer @£8.99 This is a great little fan. The stand folds flat to the body to be a neat travelling companion, and when folded out the stand is sturdy. On a flat hard surface like a hotel night-stand it vibrates ever slightly, so I place it on a sock, kitchen paper, or book rather than directly on the hard surface. With it next to you at night (I always sleep with a fan on me at home anyway) on the low, and the medium settings it runs quietly and produces a soothing gentle breaze on my head, with the fan on the night stand and at a distance from me of about 24" / 60cm. The battery life is great, the fan is still running some 6 hours later when I wake up. The fan charges from a usb-c lead, and so could be powered directly from a charge lead, or power bank, and whilst it is on charge, all three speeds do still work (I own other fans, where some only work on low speed whilst charging). On the subject of charging, it's input is 5volts, **1Amp**......, so like so many small devices, if you plug it into a high speed 3amp charger, yes it will charge, but you will shorten the lifespan of the battery over time, so always read and consider charging instructions. (I always carry an older-type low-output charger with me, Usb-A output to fit any usb lead, actually from a Blackberry phone, with a 0.5Amp output, for charging such small devices. These are generally still available as new, genuine old stock from various Commercial Sellers on eBay. Summary; the fan is not designed to, or going to, create a howling gale, but if you want some air flow on your face whilst in a hotel, or perhaps at a desk where you are unable to plug into a mains socket, then buy this fan, available in several colours, or buy two, they really don't take up much space in a bag and for the usages described above, you'll be very pleased with this fan.

This is by far the best fan i’ve had , slim and compact yet powerful plus wireless i even ordered another one , yes they are a little noisy but not horrific and not as noisy as my old desk fan. they are portable and lightweight and do not feel flimsy so a bargain for the price , charge last a while for what you would expect and actually blows cool air , they have a led screen that shows you the battery life and 3 power settings they are brilliant. I would of got pink but it didn't look as nice as the black ones

OK, this little fan is great! For those of us capable of the menopause who sleep with a partner who runs hot AND sleeps lightly, this is a great bedside fan. It can be directed where you want and although NOT silent it's a noise that can lull you to sleep. It also has more of a chill effect than a standard fan (although it's localised). It's also great on a kitchen table to keep face cool, can be held easily and put wherever it works best. Also great in the car. Two downsides, the charge isn't enough to do a whole night but that said it works whilst charging with slightly less power. It also doesn't angle forward as much as I would like. Despite those two minor issues this is fab to the point I got three.

I bought this to use in our caravan for our dog but have been using it on my desk during the heatwaves. It's a lightweight, compact fan, with 3 speeds, a digital display showing the remaining battery life. It can be tilted backwards or forwards and is quick and easy to charge. I expected it to be quite a weak fan but on any of the speeds it provides good air circulation, perfect for a small area. It's quite quiet, seems good quality and has so far been completely reliable. I think it's a good value fan for desks, by the bedside or anywhere where you need a fan close to you (even hot flushes!). I can recommend this product.

I purchased the TriPole USB Desk Fan on 10 August 2022 and I must say, it has made me the envy of the office. The fan is incredibly portable, with a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts between 4-16 hours, depending on the speed setting. This means that I can take it with me wherever I go and stay cool and comfortable all day long. The three speed settings are perfect for customising the airflow to my liking. I can have a gentle breeze on the lowest setting, or a strong gust of wind on the highest setting. The fan is also very quiet, so I don't have to worry about it being a distraction during meetings or calls, I even use it as white noise to fall asleep at night. One of the things I love about this fan is its 180° rotation feature. I can adjust it to any angle I need, which is great for targeting specific areas or cooling down multiple people at once. The fan also has a sturdy base, so I don't have to worry about it falling over or tipping. Because of how the base bends you can hang it off stuff in the car or in the workshop. I use it everywhere and even punched a hole through the base so I can hang it off of my backpack when I go hiking. 8 months on and it still works fine. It got a bit of a break over winter but now that spring is rolling in I will begin using it again. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase of the TriPole USB Desk Fan. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of portability, battery life, and performance. Picked this up for my desk and it's been a great little addition. It's much slimmer than I expected given how much airflow it puts out — the "ultra-thin" name isn't just marketing. Two speed settings on the slider let you pick between a gentle breeze and a proper cooling blast, which is handy depending on how hot the room is. The USB charging is a nice touch — no need for batteries, and with the 2000mAh battery it runs for a good stretch away from a cable, which is great when I want it on the go rather than tethered to my laptop. Build quality feels solid for the price, no rattling or wobbling even on the higher setting. It's become a permanent fixture on my desk through the warmer months. Easy to recommend if you want something compact that doesn't compromise on actual cooling power.

While I really like this fan, it does have an annoying attribute, a "buzz". When on level one the fan/case creates a buzzing noise, depending on what surface it is placed on. I have found myself pressing the sides, the back and other parts of the case to alleviate the buzz, with some partial success, then it comes back. The buzz does not seem to be so prevalent on levels two and three, but this does not help me if I just wish to have a gentle level one breeze. Maybe it needs some anti vibration material under the base, or possibly it is due to the plastic body contruction, I have yet to discover what is the cause. It's good points are that it is rechargeable, you can use it while on charge and airflow is very good. When it works without the buzz, the fan noise is greatly reduced and pleasant. I would have gladly paid a higher price for this product, if it had a better case. Maybe a metal case would solve the issue, as vibrations travel less well through metal. Another improvement could be if they had screws attaching the front and back of the case, so that it could be opened for cleaning of the fan blade and also installed a dedicated on/off button, instead of having to cycle through the speed levels. Could be so much better.

I am incredibly impressed with this TriPole Desk Fan. I purchased the pink version for my wonderful Wife and I purchased the black one for me, it has been a lifesaver. What stands out the most is how quiet it is. On the first speed setting, it is practically silent (around 30dB), making it perfect to use while sleeping or working without any distracting background buzzing. Even on the highest setting, the upgraded motor provides a really strong airflow without being overly loud. The 2000mAh rechargeable battery is highly reliable. I easily get a full day of intermittent use out of a single charge, matching the advertised 4–16 hour runtime depending on the speed setting. I also appreciate that the charging indicator clearly changes from red to green when fully charged, and that I can still use it while it's plugged into my laptop via USB. The 180° adjustable base makes it easy to angle the breeze exactly where I need it, and it folds down quite flat, which is great for portability. If you need a compact, cute, and effective personal cooling solution for a library, office, or bedroom, I highly recommend this one!
