Good starter kit
For a starter kit, I was pleasantly surprised. Nice array of tools. Tool quality is good. Wish it would have had a few more items for the beginner projects I wanted to try (rivet or snap installation). Good quality for price.

Good
I recently purchased the leather working toolkit for beginners and I have been very impressed with its quality and functionality. The kit comes with all the essential tools needed for a beginner to get started in leather crafting. The tools are made of high-quality materials and have a nice weight and feel to them. They are also easy to use and have held up well through multiple projects. The kit includes a variety of tools, such as a leather needle, waxed thread, a leather punch, and a stitching awl, which has been incredibly useful in my projects. The included instructions are clear and concise, making it easy for a beginner like me to understand how to use each tool. One thing I appreciated about this kit was that it came in a nice, sturdy case that keeps all the tools organized and easily accessible. It also makes it easy to transport the kit if I need to work on a project on-the-go.Overall, I would highly recommend this leather working toolkit for beginners. It's a great value for the price and has all the essential tools needed to get started in leather crafting. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because I think it could benefit from a few more tools, but for the price point, it's a great starter kit.

Awesome affordable beginners kit
Excellent kit for beginner leather crafters, like myself. It has many of the essential tools to get you started. The chisels could be better if they would have polished off the machine lines on the pricks. I used my electric nail filer with some skinny diamond bits to polish them the best I could. It was hard to get in between the little pricks tho. It definitely helped though and seems to go into leather easier now. There are some things that I won’t use like the two stitching wheels, I think that’s what they are called. The price was reasonable, I paid around $23. I recommend this kit.

Handy, Useful Sewing Kit
Handy kit with good quality stuff inside for upkeep of 'yer leather garments and in general. I've added some items to the kit as time went by and now have a useful leather garment upkeep kit. Has room enough inside for other items you wish to add and the zippered pouch keeps everything sorted out inside, safe, secure and everything's in one place...Id say it's a good buy after having and using it for over a year...

Bootblack's essentials
I bought this kit for simple leather repairs to go with my bootblacking practice, and oh my word it's been great. Add a spool of non-wax black thread and a metal thimble are the only things I added to my kit (though the wax threads included are pretty heavy gauge). Snips, stitching tools, every color of thread you're likely to encounter cleaning up boots and harnesses in your local bar. A good rivet install set and you've got all you'll need to confidently say "actually I can fix that right now" every time someone brings a surprise your way. There's no feeling like watching someone's face light up when you can repair an eroded seem or put back a fastener button right there when they want to look their best.

Great for beginners.
This was a great starter kit. I had most of the things that projects were asking me to use, and I especially love the little scissors.

A lower quality beginners set that is ok
This is a very basic low quality “beginners” set of leather working tools. For the cost, it is ok. A few of the items are handy and work ok but overall the quality barely passes. For example, the awls are attached to the handles shabbily, glue visible. I have others that are much higher quality. I should have known better and wish I spent my money on fewer higher quality tools instead of cheap variety. Must continue my search for higher quality tools. I will keep this set around for emergencies but would not recommend. Rather, take your time to fine quality long lasting tools.
