This can be attached to a 2 inch round down to a 1/2 inch round bar.
I have bought 2 other brands of phone holders , the first one last a week ,the second one was always coming lose . So far this one is the one to buy ,very happy with the way it stays tight on my handle bars and fits perfect to my phone to were the slide clamp doesn't interfere with the on and off or the volume buttons on my phone . plus the price is cheaper than the last two I Bought..

Guitar Phone Mount
I had been searching for a cell phone holder that I could attach to my guitar. I return-tested several mounts before finally finding this one. The models sold strictly as a guitar mount are either awkward, intrusive or expensive. Other durable clamps were too heavy. As you can see in the photos, this is perfect to clamp to the headstock and face the display towards the guitarist.Very convenient for learning new songs, and for remembering words to sing when on-the-go.Since the gripper arms are split as 2 and 1 - I use the 2 on the bottom machineheads and the top 1 in between strings on the head-stock. The ball clamp is easy enough to rotate and angle to comfort. The mount is light enough so only the weight of the phone is noticeable. Thankfully, the phone sliding clips are strong enough you'd never really need the rubber loops on the corners (unless you rock that hard, bro). So it's easy to clip in/out or just tap the phone to change tabs or scroll lyrics. As long as it's positioned well and tight the tuning pegs aren't effected. It's quick enough to loosen the wingnut for the arms to tune if need-be.Of course, now I've got a capo clipped to the top and this on the side so this acoustic's all modded up haha And just maybe tablature is cheating, but why judge convenience?! Hopefully this creative off-label use for the bike phone mount is helpful to people who were searching for a guitar cell phone mount. Did i pepper in plenty of guitar lingo keywords ? Comments appreciated!UPDATE - middle ball socket screw snapped. ordering a new one less than a year later... thankfully the price has halved !

I bought this particular model because the Keiser bike I use has mainly vertical handlebars rather than horizontal like many bikes
I am an indoor cycling instructor and I bought this to put on my bike so I can manage the music from my bike. I bought this particular model because the Keiser bike I use has mainly vertical handlebars rather than horizontal like many bikes. I liked that you could rotate the holder so any way. So far it seems well made and great for this purpose! It will also fit lots of different sized phones (currently use an Iphone 6) so when I upgrade, a size difference won't matter. Also easily fits the case - so it's a great design.

Works well.
Holder worked well for my iphone 6 and works well with iphone 10. Just remember to place the straps on the phone. One time I forgot and my phone wound up on the ground. Not a product issue, just human error.

The connected bicycle
I got lucky choosing this holder out of the thousands offered. It works well for me. It's a stretch for my iPhone 7 Plus but it holds it securely. I like the clamp because I don't want it on my handle bars. This clamp allows me to fit it on the cross bar of my bike with the phone sitting just at the handle bar pivot. The adjusting, pivoting head on this holder maintains its adjustment very well.

Poor design
Two different pieces - top and bottom - cannot be attached. Others have had same problem. Looks like they revised product. Not happy. Will returnupdate 8/3/17Day after I wrote review they responded to my earlier comment I sent to the seller. They sent an email that explained you just had to push hard to get the pieces together. It worked, but really had to slam it. Still think the design is poor. Should not have to bang something together, but all's well that ends well. Now that it's together will see how well it attaches to bike.

Good quality product
Good quality product, holds phone well. The clamp is a little bulky and the product is fairly heavy probably better fit to my mountain bike not my road bike. Gave 4 stars for weight and bulkiness.

its well built and easy to use
Didn't get five stars because the holder won't stay where you put it (screen ends up flat from vibration). Phone is not going anywhere, its well built and easy to use....but gets aggravating when it goes flat!
