Great for beer brewing!
I purchased the 100 quart pot for beer brewing.I don't know why I would rate this kettle any lower than 5 stars. If anything the annoying part is that there is a sticker on the bottom of the pot that's impossible to peel off. Other than that, this thing is super sturdy, no issues with heat distribution, it heats up way quicker than a stainless steel pot, and is insanely cheaper than a stainless steel pot.If used for brewing (such as mine), be sure to wash this with dish soap before using it the first time. The oils from the factory when making it are definitely on this pot. Also, boil a full 25 gallons of water with the lid on for an hour before using it for the first time. This will cause the metal to oxidize which means the inside of the pot will turn a bit darker. This is the protecting layer so that none of that aluminum will leech into the beer. From my research and taste, there seems to be no aluminum taste/leeching after doing that boiling process once. When stirring the beer with a spoon just keep in mind to do your best not to scrape the sides/bottom. That would scratch off a small portion of that layer.I'd recommend the pot to anyone. It took me a while to convince myself that I didn't need Stainless Steel and it's worked out just fine and in some ways better (quick ramp up to boiling since the conductivity of aluminum is much higher than Stainless Steel). My wallet thanked me for getting this pot.

Impressed by the sturdiness of this pot.
I ordered this pot because it seemed like it would offer the best value for a stock pot of its size. Having now used it, I can say that I am impressed by its sturdiness and anticipate that it will last a long time. It is made of aluminum that is probably about 1/4" thick. The handles, which are often a weak point on cheap cookware, are solidly attached and show no signs of flexing or looseness when lifting it while it is full of boiling water. It is worth noting that aluminum is softer than stainless steel. Because of this, the pot will scratch when you slide it around on a metal surface (such as over a gas burner) or clean it with a scouring pad or metal tool. This is only cosmetic and not really a problem because it will still cook food and boil water just as well, it will just look used. Considering that a stainless steel pot of the same build quality would easily cost twice as much or more, this aluminum pot offers a good value.

That's what she said
This thing is THICK!I have been tossing around the idea of getting one of those El Cheapo corn cooking pots from the store. But, I got this instead. I'm glad I got this. The instructions say to coat it in oil lightly, and cook it empty in the oven, etc, to season it. I filled it with water, and a few drops of vegetable oil, and boiled it. I figure 212F boiling water, with light oil would serve the same purpose. I will figure out a way to put gallon markings inside of this, and it will be perfect. Seriously, this thing is industrial strength thick. Like, you could use it as a step ladder.

The Fabulous Thunder Group Stock Pot (50 quart)
The fabulous Thunder Group 50 Quart Aluminum Stock Pot is one of my most exciting recent purchases! If you have never handled a large stock pot, then my attempt to describe that experience will be, at best, mere words (reminder to self: Need to provide my rating of Jorge Luis Borges's writing for recent purchase of Ficciones--poor, okay, good, or great). It is huge! Probably most customers wouldn't be able to handle a stock pot this size. I haven't used it yet, and I am actually fearful that my burner may be strong enough, But I am going to try it out carefully. I'll start with maybe half and then work my way up from there. What else can I say? It is shiny, and there were no scratches or dents. The pimply youth working the late-night counter at UPS claimed at first that he could not find the box, and yet I returned home with it. It is a little wider than I am used to, and I had hoped it would be deeper. (I intend to use it for boiling wort, and I fear a great loss of volume due to the greater surface area.) If anyone reading this is in the market for a large stock pot, then I would say to you: "Go for it!" I searched the online restaurant auctions for weeks and the few _used_ stock pots I found were priced way higher than this new one. This stock pot is 4mm thick; the more expensive ones are 6mm thick. Either way, it's thicker than a cheap turkey fryer.

Stronger than tigers and lions
We don't use them for their intended purpose but they make perfect water buckets for our big cat facility. Tigers, in particular, are very destructive to every container I have used in the 30 years I have been caring for big cats. This is the first indestructible bucket I have found...and a great price. We almost all 50 tiger and lion enclosure fitted with one of these pots.

Excellent Stock Pot
I purchased this 60qt pot to brew larger batches of beer than my 9 gallon stainless can handle. I'm not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. The side walls on this thing are almost a quarter inch thick and the handles are solid. This is NOT a cheap, thin turkey fryer pot u can pick up at the local sporting goods store. It is heavy-duty and I look forward to many years of brewing. The only thing I need to do is add a ball valve to this thing. Once you fill it up, lifting it to drain is not an option. Excellent buy...
