Can this be used in cold waether ??

I've used this stove with 8.8oz butane several times now in cold weather 33 to 36 degrees F, and it does not work well. The butane does not like the cold weather.

How do you put the butane in the stove?

The butane fuel can only be loaded in its can. Open the fuel canister compartment cover. Remove the cap on the fuel canister. Insert the canister with the collar notch facing upward. The valve on the canister goes into a small funnel shaped fitting. There is a spring loaded latch that fits into the collar notch. Close the compartment and activate the fuel canister lock lever on the front of the stove. The stove is now ready to use.

Can you use a cast iron skillet on this stove?

Absolutely. Any pot or pan works fine. Actually, a cast iron skillet would work great. The stove can put out quite a bit of heat, I've used these for a stock pot.
