Reizen Loud Ear 110dB Gain Personal Amplifier

I bought this for a friend of mine who is currently in a convalescent facility. Hearing aids were hurting his ears, and I don’t really think was getting the job run done right. Plus all the battery exchange was a hassle. When he was admitted to the hospital the Laud ear device was used by several of the staff. He heard great, it’s very lightweight easy to insert, and pretty much does exactly what it supposed to do. One downside, of course the loud ear magnifies everything. If you are in a noisy environment, such as a dining hall, it’s pretty difficult to hear anything. That being said, one on one, in a quiet room, visiting with an elderly person, the Loud ear works quite well. I would definitely buy one again if needed.

This is a life saver. I bought this for my 95 years old mom when she lost her hearing on both ears. There was no other way to talk to her if it wasn't because of this device. With this device we talk to her in normal voice. It does pick up the sound from the environment which is annoying, but if you are in a room at home or with few people around, she can hear everyone and have a normal conversation with them. It has volume control. One clever feature of this device is, my mom can turn the volume control knob but had a hard time to turn it all the way for it to click off, but as I see it if you turn it off all the way without the click, the light turns off which I hope it means it is off, but I am not sure. Otherwise a great device.

I am genuinely surprised and disappointed that the seller or more specifically, Amazon, would offer a product such as this. Where is the Quality Control? I wanted something primarily to enhance my TV listening to avoid having to turn the TV up so loud and even "upgraded" to the higher priced item (compared to the many less expensive devices offered) thinking I would get good results. Instead I found that upon turning it on and trying to use it, there was so much background noise that it drowned out any semblance of hearing the TV whether the TV volume was high or turned down to a normal range. I tried the earbud in both ears, I adjusted it up and down and positioned the unit both holding it and then laying it as a stand alone while attempting to reach a point of actually hearing the TV, but nothing altered the wind-like static noise. It sounds like being in a wind tunnel or someone blowing into the microphone. I am stupefied at the price for something that doesn't work and angry at myself for believing the product description! I could not hear the TV, let alone it enhancing the listening experience! I am returning it immediately for a refund and I do not recommend this product, as I found it to be worthless. Were it not for the cost, I would have thrown it in the trash and not even bothered with returning it.

Compact Amplifier That Works, But With Quirks I tried this Reizen Loud Ear personal amplifier mainly for conversations in quieter settings. The small size and included earbuds make it easy to slip into a pocket, and setup is straightforward—plug in, adjust volume, and it’s ready. The volume range is strong, with plenty of gain; even at half strength, voices and sounds come through much louder than without it. That said, the sound quality isn’t crisp. Voices can feel somewhat tinny or distorted, and background noises (like rustling or clinking dishes) are amplified right along with speech. This makes it less helpful in crowded or noisy spaces. Comfort is another point—using it for more than an hour can be tiring since it relies on basic earbuds instead of a more tailored fit. Build-wise, it feels lightweight but not especially sturdy; I wouldn’t want to drop it. Battery life is adequate, but expect to swap or recharge regularly if using daily. Bottom line: This is an inexpensive, portable option if you just need extra amplification in calm environments, but it falls short of a polished hearing aid alternative.

It’s not that great but it does work. My mom had bad hearing loss so I got her this one that she wanted and she did hear a lot better !! But the 2nd day it had a ringing noise when you turn it to a higher level it was so loud that I had to help her quickly pull the plug from the headphone to stop the noise

I bought this because I have pregnancy Tinnitus and I can't hear a damn thing my husband (or any man) is saying over the ringing in my ears! It was getting SO bad at work that I felt it was unprofessional how often I had to say "What?" not to mention ANNOYING! So, I got this thing with pretty low expectations, but it works great! It's like a Go-Go Gadget ear! It is NOT good in my lunchroom where there is refrigerator noise which drowns out any speaking, but in my quiet office, it works awesome! I tried it with the TV last night too and it was great! So, my summary is: don't expect this to work if there is a lot of background noise, it will pick up on those noises first, but for around the office and at home on my couch in the living room it is great. If I have one complaint so far it's that I haven't found a convenient place to set the microphone where I won't have to move it, but that won't be noticeable to my coworkers. If I wear it on my pocket, I hear a lot of noise from me moving around. I placed it on my desk next to me and no one seems to have noticed it yet. Great option for the price and it just looks like I'm listening to music through an earbud in my ear! Great buy!

This product was bought for my 90 y o mother. I thought it worked wonderfully because of its loudness and clarify, she didn't even need to turn it up all the way. I previously purchased the Cyber Science behind the ear hearing amplifier in the first 3 months of this year. She wore them one at a time and by November they both failed work property. I thought this product work much better and for a far longer time due to its components size alone. BUT! After only 3 days of use, the Reizen Loud Ear has stopped working all together. Maybe I got a bad one, but on any account this doesn't build any faith in your product.

I purchased this for my elderly mother who is extremely hard of hearing. She is in a Nursing Home. She also has dementia and loses so many things, buying expensive hearing aids were not practical. But I thought if it helped at all, it would be worth the money. We were surprised at how WELL it worked. I thought she would find it necessary to turn the volume up to 100% in order to get the benefit but she turned it only to 50% and said she could hear. The only problem is still finding it when she needs it as she does misplace it, and we have to search for it almost daily. Her therapists look for it when they are ready to take her to therapy as it helps them so much in communicating with her. However, it doesn't work for the telephone. She still cannot hear trying to use the telephone. We suspect she gets too much feed back from her own voice when trying to use the phone. If and when she loses it for good, we will buy another one.
