Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Egg Incubator with Automatic Turning & Humidity Control

This little guys worked amazing we had all hatch out nice and healthy. Was super impressed. I would absolutely recommend if you only want a few chicks to hatch. Kept temp perfectly, must keep an eye on humidity and temp. This beauty worked for us. easy to set up and use size is nice doesn't take up a lot of room. Truly enjoyed seeing the babies hatch , durable too.

Absolutely amazing! Temp and humidity are set and forget! App notifications if something isn’t right or loss of power or WiFi, will keep going when it gets power back but keeps its settings regardless of WiFi! Pair it with a nanny cam and your going to get the best barrage your hens can offer.

This is an excellent, professional incubator with great build‑quality. Temperature and humidity control are spot‑on. The after‑sales team is professional and responsive. It’s also well‑priced. I’m really excited to begin my hatching projects！

This thing has been almost a total joke. First, I received a unit that had been pillaged for it's power supply, Amazon was good to make this right. Secondly, this unit was bought to control humidity. This is the ridiculous part, it doesn't even come close. What it does is allow water to flow uncontrollably all over the place. This is incredibly lame for something that costs this much. Unfortunately, I'm over a waterfall in a barrel as I can't just shut it down with eggs that are halfway mature.

I have used this twice and it works great. Great hatch on my local eggs. I have bought another Brinsea, the ovation56, also the connect because on shipped eggs it is recommended to use incubators that keeps the eggs upright rather than laying on their side. I love this connect feature on this incubator.

Set Up is a bit confusing. Had to watch a few videos on YouTube to get it right. That took a star off. Spent the extra money for a more accurate unit because hatching and turning goose eggs is almost impossible to stay on schedule. Also, A couple of months from now, bull snakes will be raiding the duck nests and we need a couple of hatches this year. The unit performs just as promised. Temps, humidity, turning intervals are very accurate. Once the pump tubing loop was figured out - as a left hander, I reversed in tibial direction of looping on water pump ( very ingenious design by the way), the unit works perfectly. Highly recommend. Start it a day or two before to make sure you're on target and to allow time to fix errors with the help from videos. The proof will be how successful the hatches are in 15 more days. UPDATE: Hatched out 5 goose eggs successfully (3 were infertile). Duck eggs and chicken eggs should be a breeze to hatch. Once set up, it frees up so much of my time and takes a lot of guess work. I’m new to hatching (goose) eggs but no matter what the breed, keep a sheet of paper to track the days, when to turn of rotating or candle the eggs. Highly recommend. A bit expensive, but very accurate and realize.

Great built quality and excellent accuracy with temperature setting, you get what you pay for. Best small incubator around.

Ordered in December and didn't open until we ordered our eggs. Tried to get it to work and set a correct humidity level, but found the inside workings had either missing parts, crimped water lines and other things that would not work. AND of course, I'm 2 weeks late for the return window... Just a warning. Later…I’m sorry Brinsea, I continued to search for answers on why I couldn’t get it to work. Found a You Tube video that explained it very well and it worked just fine after I ordered a big one. Very well-made product!

Great product. Success hatching the first try. Could include extra cardboard inserts, however more can be made or purchased.

I was fighting humidity control on a cheap no name incubator which was leading to less than ideal hatch rates. After purchasing this Brinsea there was a noticeable change for the positive. Checking the humidity and temperate control out of the box using a calibrated temperature monitor and hygrometer shows it is highly accurate. I tested the recovery rate of the humidity control and it operates very efficiently given the simplicity of the pump system. This is definitely not the cheapest option out there but the quality in design is evident and the stress free use makes up for it in my case.
