Dewalt 190681 20V MAX 4 gal. Lithium-ion Cordless Backpack Sprayer Kit (2 Ah)

This sprayer has several features that I really like. I am comparing it to another back-pack sprayer I have, of an older design that uses a motorcycle battery. With this Dewalt sprayer, the battery is of the Dewalt ecosystem. The power button and volume control are easily accessible even when you are wearing the sprayer. A number of tips come with it, and they are kept in a plastic holder on the spray wand. Spraying is very even. The sprayer is somewhat heavy even when empty. Also, there is a removable filter within the tank. During my first use, I had about a half gallon of leftover Roundup that was at least a month old, and was a little cloudy. I mixed this with new water and concentrate to two gallons and went spraying, but when the motor started bogging down there was still about a quarter gallon left. The battery was still charged, so I believe the internal filter is clogged.

Beats a manual sprayer. Haven't had an issue after multiple uses.

It is super easy to use and very efficient. I sprayed out 6 gallons of my vinegar, salt and Dawn mixture in record time. Clean up is also really easy with the wide screw top opening

This product was/is well built (so far), your tank will come with residual water from them factory testing it. The only thing I will say is if you order online from amazon check your serial numbers and compare to the boxes, not a single serial matched any box of Dewalt products I purchased. Some boxes said made in Mexico while the sticker on the actual item (drill, etc..) will say made in Mexico or Made in China. I really don't care where it's made, I just want my products to match the serial numbers to the stickers on the boxes.Side Note, purchase the extra warranty. I'm Hoping to not need it, but its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.This electric backpack sprayer is a beast! I had an issue with all types of insects in the garden and I spent countless hours trying to remedy the situation that I had... It was really bad, I almost gave up gardening (my little container garden) due to the aphids and ants and pill bugs etc... Watched several channels and took lots of notes and I had one last chance at it and spraying the neem oil worked! I tested it with about 1.5 gallons and was light on the neem oil concentrate however, next week when I spray I will be filling this thing up with 4 gallons and after I spray my garden, I will spray the entire yard to get rid of the mosquitoes in the area as that is the last insect I need to get rid of. I will only use this thing for the garden no herbicides will ever see the inside of this thing. This thing saved me so much time and effort and going through all of this made me respect anyone farming or gardening that much more. If you don't have a battery sprayer and you are on the fence with purchasing one, do it, you will not regret the investment.As far as where to purchase it, if you care about factory warranties and all of that find an authorized Dewalt dealer and purchase from them. I will be contacting the company and trying to figure out this little situation and I will update.

In my opinion, this is the best battery sprayer out there. For those who complain about there battery being dead or ruined. Try turning the sprayer OFF when you’re done with it. I ran 4 tanks (16)gallons) with a 5ah battery. Still had all bars lit. As with all battery powered devices, if you leave it turned on, it will keep drawing power until it’s going be.

Used it twice. Works great! So much nicer than stopping to pump the old one.
