Magical elves.
This auger is great! Good quality for the price! There is a huge old tree in my backyard populated with magical elves that bake cookies, thanks to this auger I was able to drill a hole into their tree and shout anti-elf slurs at them through the hole for my amusement.

Impressive Drill Bit
I had to make 18 straight-through holes in pressure treated lumber ranging from 6" to 8" and it went through like butter. I highly recommend this bit.

Decent quality for the price
This auger drill bit can be used with a standard drill that has a 3/8-inch shank. It can easily drill a hole through soft wood, but it is very difficult to drill a hole through hardwood. Overall, it's a decent value for the price.

I love it -- cuts through wood like butter!
I had to put up a replacement 16 foot 4x4 against a smaller 4x4 cemented stabilizer so I could mount my bat house. Of course one of the 3 holes didn't align. The 12" bit went through both 4x4 like butter. Love it. Much better than a standard drill bit. Definitely recommend!

Don’t get me wrong, it drills great. But, it squeaks and squeals so bad. It’s horrible.
