The number one reason I gave this 5 stars. My hair is frizz free! The locking cool shot button is genius. No more fumbling to find it and try to hold it down. Keeps the frizz away. Overall this is a great hair dryer. If I really wanted to be picky, I would deduct a star for the placement of the other buttons. It would be very easy to accidentally hit one and change the speed/temp but they are not easy to push, so that redeems that issue.This is fairly quiet...it's a hair dryer, it's going to make noise, but it's NOT that HIGH PITCHED annoying dryer noise most have. It sounds well made, if that makes sense.It's not light, but it's not way too heavy either. It's in the middle. My old Revlon was so light that it felt cheaply made. Drying time is super fast, but I also have fine shoulder length hair so that's not an issue for me.Bottom line, my 50-something year old hair is as frizz free as it was when I was 30!

Love the amazing power. Heat options are perfect! Drys hair super fast with less frizz than older conair model i had. *One thing to note regarding the "cool shot" button.... you press to engage then press again to disengage. An awesome feature, however i think some of the reviewers that complained that the dryer didn't get hot enough may have the cool shot button "engaged" without knowing. Previous dryers you had to physically hold the cool shot button with your thumb. Mine came with the cool shot engaged out of the box, and i was worried, but the heat came right on as soon as i re-pressed the cool-shot button. As far as loudness. I don't think it's much quieter, however the noise isn't as "whiney" as other dryers. Not as annoying as some can be.I loved this dryer so much I bought one for my daughter and she loves hers too!

If you are looking for an amazing blow dryer that can cut your blow dry time in half look no further. I spent months researching because I did not want to get stuck with another crappy blow dryer. I finally decided on this one because I loved the features, read multiple reviews that praised its power, and the price tag was under $100 (I got it on sale for $60 something). I don't have a lot of bathroom space so I did not want to splurge and buy a $$$ that might get dropped due to limited counter space.This blow dryer is sooooo light weight, is about medium in sound (I've heard quieter and louder), and absolutely mind blowing in speed. I was able to dry my thick, long hair in half of the time without using the highest heat. The power on this thing is amazing!

I have seen a lot of people reviewing this dryer and saying that it doesn't get hot. It does get hot but the thing to know is that the "cold shot" button is not a "press and hold" for cool air button. If you press the cold shot button and let go it stays cold until you press and release it again. I also thought that there was no heat with this dryer, but it seemed unusually cold so I played with the cold shot button a bit and figured out how it operates. The dryer actually gets fairly hot on the hot setting, but not excessively. It is as hot as I would expect a typical dryer to get. The dryer is not excessively loud, it is quieter than my old dryer which was a regular motor dryer. It is a powerful little dryer. It is smaller than my old dryer and I like the compact size. It is also lighter. I will update again after I use it more.

The power is great and I have purchased this same dryer over a year ago and I just now had to replace it, but it wasn't because it stopped working it was because of cord I melted the cord by setting my flat iron on it. I like how this dryer isn't heavy and easy to take out lint. Nice price for a nice blowdryer that lasts a long time. I use my blowdryer everyday so that says a lot. Must buy!!!!

I have been using this hair dryer for about a week now and really like it. It dries my thick but fine hair faster than my old blow dryers and is quieter than them also. It sounds like the hair dryer my stylist uses (but hers is more expensive). It doesn't get super hot even on high, which is a good thing because that damages hair plus my hair dries faster using this than using my old dryer which did get hotter. It is really easy to use but like the other reviews I wish the control buttons were in a different place as I find myself hitting the buttons accidentally. Both the concentrator and the diffuser stay on the dryer while in use, so that's good. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy this product again.

I ordered this after doing my own research and was looking forward to it. First one I ordered, heat setting would not work at all no matter what I tried. I did return it with a request for a replacement and that was received timely without any hassle. With the replacement dryer, the heat setting worked the first time and has not since......cool setting is great and thinking that I might keep it for the hot summer days to cool off fast, but working to dry my hair is not possible. I know I should return it, but at least wanted people to know in case this is their experience as well. Disappointing.

Dryer is OK, so I won't send it back. But it is slow to heat up and noisier than implied in the description. Also easy to hit the "cold" button by accident, and then have to hit it again to go back to heat.
