I am very pleased with this product. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits my Flair Neo Flex portafilter perfectly. The quality is more than I expected. It is very heavy and sturdy. The seller also provided a scoop and a stand to rest it on. The price was great for its quality. If I could, I would've given it 6 stars. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a Neo Flex.

Well made, works great on the Flair Classic, Signature, and Neo.

If you're a Flair Classic user like me you know that the dosing cup/tamper that they provide is garbage. This tamper is a big upgrade! It fits the portafilter much better than the dosing cup and leaves less coffee around the wall of the portafilter. It actually tamps it down into the puck like it's supposed to.The squared edge of this tamper isn't very comfortable in my hand. But, having a real tamper with a proper handle has allowed me to have much more level tamps and increased consistency. It's also small enough that I can easily fit it into the case with my Flair.Overall, it's not perfect but it's well worth the money for a better coffee-making experience.

Weighty, surprisingly decent finish. Works PERFECTLY with the flair neo flex, as others have said you can use the neo flex base to tamp with, and it tamps through the stock funnel. Be sure not to press very hard, just enough to where you feel the grounds "push back" or you can easily overly compact the grounds. When tamping through the funnel and on the base it leads to a very consistent, even tamp. Worth the upgrade eventhough the neo flex is a budget machine.

Pros:- Stainless, unlike the cheap plastic tamper that came with the Flair Neo- Feels substantial/solid- Simple & attractive- There aren't a lot of options that fit the Flair Neo, but the 39mm version of this works wellOther:- Comes with a small black plastic brush, small white plastic scoop, and black rubbery base, none of which aren't necessary and actually made it seem cheaper (especially if giving as a gift). But maybe some folks want these.- As others have noted, the top isn't ergonomic, so it's not as comfortable to use manually as other tampers that have rounded tops. However, the flat top makes it able to be used to tamp with the Flair itself.

I received the 39mm for my Flair Neo a while ago. At first, I found the handle’s sharp edges to be unfriendly when trying to tamp by hand. However, I soon realized that’s not how is designed to be used.Lightly tamp the ground coffee until it’s below the top of the portafilter. This tamp is roughly one or two millimeters too small on the top due to the angled nature of the basket. Then, transfer the basket to the portafilter holder keeping the tamp on top of the grounds. Use the lever to finish tamping.Essentially, the handle is made for the plunger to deal with. Honestly, brilliant design. Just wish they advertised it like that first. The low cost got my curiosity, the ability to use the plunger for tamping got my attention.

I bought this to use with the Capmesso reusable Vertuo capsules for my Nespresso machine. I wasn't able to stuff enough coffee into the capsule without a tamper. This one fits the big Capmesso capsule which makes a lungo size cap of coffee. This tamper is solid, heavy metal, and a bonus rubber tamping mat was included. I can't imagine that it would ever wear out!

The media could not be loaded. This tamper fits the Flair Neo Flex 40mm portafilters perfectly. It is solid stainless steel so should last quite a long time. The best part of this tamper is you can place your portafilter in your lever stand and place the tamper on top. Then lower the lever on top of the tamper to tamp the grounds consistently. This saves your hands from squeezing and pushing in awkward angles.
