The legs and bottom support are all plastic. The end fittings are again of plastic and do not fit well with the legs. The shelves are not pure wood as advertised, but laminate particle board. In nutshell please avoid.

I'm super impressed with these, I didn't have high hopes as I purchased them as an open box item from the warehouse, and I'm extremely cynical, but at the same time I'm just looking for something to hold my cell, my headphones, a small lamp and a glass of water. I actually prefer this design to more expensive ones from ikea, as due to the fact that it's plastic screwing into plastic, nothing is pushed together permanently, and it's impossible to strip a screw, so I know that when I move I will be able to save space by breaking these down again. Working perfectly as a bedside table for me! Highly recommend, especially if someone else returns them and you snag them for cheaper!
