Perfect Pant - VERY Happy!
I am 5' 5" tall, and weigh approximately 150-155 lbs. Size medium, length 30", is perfect for me. Not too long or too short, and will work nicely with boot, sandal, or tennis shoe. I have a feminine figure in that my waist is smaller than my hips, and these pants are made for a woman's body - Thank you UNITOP! The elastic sides on the waist are great, the cargo pockets are a nice addition, and I love that these are convertible into a short. The quality appears to be very nice, although I haven't worn them for an extended period of time, or washed them. We are headed on a lengthy hike, where these pants will need to primarily be hand-washed. The material is light-weight, and therefore will dry quickly. Very happy with this purchase and how quickly I received the pants after ordering. Great purchase, and appear to be a great price as well!

Good Fit, Great Hiking or Walking pants. LOVE!!
First off, I hardly ever take the time to write a review, but I love these pants so much I had to! I was looking for a walking pant that was at least somewhat water resistant. I am short legged and I almost always have to hem my pants, even when I buy the 'short' lengths. The length of these were perfect with walking tennis shoes. I bought the XL in a 29 length. I usually wear either a 14 in jeans, sometimes a 16. I have a smaller waist, but larger hips. These give me enough room that I can wear leggings underneath when it is colder, but still fit nice by themselves. I live in the Pacific Northwest, where the weather changes from warm and dry to cold and wet, quickly. I hadn't even expected to wear them as the convertible shorts, but on a particularly warm morning I did and I just LOVED them!!The pockets are nice and rooming. I can find a pocket for my extra large cell phone, keys and doggie poo bags! I can see that for someone who hikes, these would be a very versatile choice. The appear to be well made, the zippers worked great...were easy to unzip and also to reattach the legs. I also like that they have well placed belt loops. When I wear lycra leggings underneath, they had a tendency to slip a little. I added an elastic belt (also purchased on Amazon) and they stayed in place. This will also help if I lose a little weight.I love them enough I bought a 2nd pair in a different color and plan to buy a 3rd! They are very inexpensive, compared to what I could find in athletic or department stores.I couldn't be happier and I really don't have any negatives to report!

Most comfortable hiking pants that actually hold up to hard work outdoors
Ok ladies,If you work outdoors or hike a lot and have had a ridiculously difficult time finding comfortable, non-miserable, hiking pants (with cargo pockets! holy cow!) that can hold up to hard work, I suggest you give these a try.I work outdoors as an environmental scientist, so I'm usually hiking off-trail in really rugged areas (like thorns, rocks, thick brush, and through swamps and wetlands) for hours on end, typically in miserable weather (because nature). I've gone through too many pairs of pants trying to find some that are A) comfortable in 80+ degree heat, climbing steep slopes for hours on end, B) won't tear as soon I go through a thicket, C) actually have real pockets that I can put real things in (like camera, field book, pens/pencils, etc), and D) don't look entirely horrid/unprofessional. I've tried Duluth firehose pants, all the types of Carharts and Wrangler pants you can imagine, random Walmart knock-off "hiking" pants, Columbia pants, etc. None. Have. Worked.Well to my delightful surprise these actually fit the bill (and aren't like $10000). I will never buy work/hiking pants from any other brand again. I have two so far and will probably get more. As far as sizing goes, I'm about 145ish pounds at 5'6 and am definitely curvy and not stick-straight (I have man-calves, thick thighs, a largish bottom, fairly big hips, but a narrower waist, so finding pants of any kind that fit is usually an adventure), and these pants finally fit my body. I ordered a 30" waist with a 30.5" inseam. It helps that part of the waistband is elastic, while still having a zipper/button closure (and extra belt loops - thank you!!). Not to mention they are very lightweight (but don't feel like you're wearing tissue paper) and are actually quick-dry (trust me, I've tested that out many times already). They don't seem to hold on to smells very much either (important when you just walked out of a cow pasture wetland and still have 8 hours to go). And bonus, you can get more than one color if you so please. So, again, highly recommend these pants for hiking, working outdoors, or even anything that would require comfy, lightweight, moisture-wicking pants (with pockets!). Hope this helps someone out and happy hiking/working/whatever you do in these!

The only thing that is annoying is the sound that they make when you walk ...
They fit well, are actually quite flattering looking, and construction seems to be solid. The only thing that is annoying is the sound that they make when you walk and your legs brush one another - very crunchy synthetic fabric. They do seem like they will hold up to anything in the outdoors though, so a good buy unless you can't handle the sound.

Nice looking pant
Nice looking pant. It does make quite a bit of noise when you walk which I knew from the reviews. I normally wear a size 12 pant. I'm 5'4. I ordered the 32w x 30. The length was good for my short legs, but the rise was too short and it wasn't comfortable. Also, the pockets on the side pulled. I do have a tummy hence the pulling. Anyway, I ended up sending them back and got a nice pair at REI but they were a lot more expensive! If you have a shape these would fit and you don't mind the swishy, crinkly noise, a good pant.
