No, I do not believe it can. This is an earthware pot, so you will need either a gas burner or and electric hotplate.

Can I use this on an electric stove top? What is a good size for 4-5 people?

I am sure it will be okay on an electric stove. The size is for individual ramen or udon noodle… anything for one person! No way it could use serving for more than one!

It is possible to use the dishwasher. After washing, please dry until the inside of the pot is dry. It may cause mold.
