Works great, may require more than one treatment.
Product work amazing although I know itโll take more than one dip to fix the flea situation. Bonus is that you can mist it on your furniture and flooring!

Fleas are Gone!
At first I didn't think it worked first dip I washed my cat in dawn rinsed then dipped her. Within a week the fleas were back on her. This time I did the same thing but I let her air dry by my heater instead of towel drying which I believe took off alot of the insecticide and used a cat cone so she wouldn't lick the toxins while it was drying. Its been a week and she hasn't been scratching, no signs of fleas dirt in her fur. Now thats a win. Great product just use it strategically. With both times i dipped her the dip instantly killed the fleas that the dawn did not suffocate / were resistant to. Works better than advantage in my opinion. Great flea solution!

Before purchasing Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip and Sulfur Dip for ...
Before purchasing Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip and Sulfur Dip for my German Shepard, he scratched all day long unless he was sleeping or playing ball. I had tried many products before trying these two products using along with Dawn Dish Soap. I felt that using all three products helped my dog with his flea, and dog mites problems. The Pyrethrin Dip also keeps the deer flies and horseflies from bothering him. The Sulfur has stopped the itching and the Dawn Soap immediately kills the fleas. I gave a 4 rating because I did try using as standalone with a dog shampoo. The next day my dog leaned onto my leg and I had a leg full of fleas on me.So I felt the product did not deter fleas. Plus I put some of the product in a bowl of water and washed the flea brush in the chemical. It did not kill the fleas on contact.

Oh Well
Didn't work completely, had to reapply, followed directions. Ended up going to the vet, an expensive route, much better for dogs well being.

I love this stuff but I don't put it on my cats
So, I worry about applying strong chemicals on my cats BUT I buy this stuff to get rid of bugs/fleas in my house. SO, what I do is one of two things. I used to take some and put it in my shampooer but it doesn't penetrate carpets well and its hard to measure since it's not a gallon container on the shampooer. So I bought the Chapin 22000 Made in USA Value Pack of 2 Units, 1 Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressured Sprayer, for Spraying Plants, Garden Watering, Lawns, Weeds and Pests, Translucent White Return or replace items: Eligible I spray the screens in my house, all the flooring and carpets, furniture and pet areas. I give my cats a bath in Dawn and keep them in the bathroom. Meanwhile, while they are locked in the bathroom with food, water, toys and blankets I know are free of fleas because they just came out the dryer. They stay there until it all dries. Then after a few hours I let them out. I don't vacuum or clean it up until the next day. By then after monitoring the cats to see how itchy they are I can tell if I got all if not most of the fleas. It normally works in one shot. I still worry since the dip is still on items even though they are dry but so far, so good. I have been doing this for a few years now. The shampooer is limited to just the flooring. So it doesn't always work and I have to use a spray bottle for the rest of the areas. To me, this dip is a life saver but not in the way it was meant to be.

Not Safe for My Cats โ Caused Severe Reaction
I purchased Adams Plus Pyrethrin Dip after seeing that it was labeled for both dogs and cats. Unfortunately, after using this product on my cats, one of them had a serious respiratory reaction that required an emergency vet visit, including IV fluids, steroid injection, sedation, and antibiotics. He developed wheezing and breathing distress shortly after exposure. My other cat was immediately and thoroughly rinsed under running water, which likely prevented a more severe reaction, but he still vomited once afterward. While this product may work for some pets, it is extremely risky for cats, especially those with sensitive airways. Even when used with caution, the reaction was severe and terrifying. The vet confirmed this type of reaction is a known risk with pyrethrin products in cats. I strongly recommend that cat owners avoid this product entirely and use only vet-approved, cat-specific flea treatments. I would never use this product again
