McDavid 6500 HexPad Power Shooter Arm Sleeve

I purchased the McDavid 6500 HexPad Shooter Arm Sleeve several weeks ago and I have used it tons of time since then, I used to play football when I was younger, and now I kind of just play for fun with friends. A while back, I injured my elbow (my throwing arm) and it made it really difficult to throw more than a few throws without blowing my elbow out, so, I decided to give this a try. As soon as I got it, it fit perfectly right out of the box, I put it on and could feel some relief almost immediately. The first day I used it for football, I went from only being able to throw for a few minutes to being able to throw for an hour straight. Since then, my elbow has been improving significantly, and I only wear it when I play! Which tells me that not only does it help protect my elbow during play, it actually helps promote healing of my elbow while I am playing. It also stretches great, I have been working upper-body three times a week and have seen a noticeable difference in the size of my arm all around (originally, I was on the smaller end of a large) and it stretches to my arm's form perfectly. Not only does this offer excellent protection (the pad itself) and support, it also is very comfortable and is very reliable. If you are looking to improve your game, or protect your elbow, this is definitely the sleeve for you. Five stars. Will buy McDavid products again.

My daughter hasn't used it yet, but it fits well and she said is comfortable. And the McDavid knee pads she ordered last year are holding up well after about 15 futsal matches plus practices, so we expect the quality of the elbow pad to be good too. Only surprise was that it was a single arm sleeve (thought it was a pair - ha).

This item's fit probably varies from user to user, but I have an issue with it being a bit too tight at the bicep and too loose at the wrist. It is good at the elbow, which is why I purchased it, so still a positive buy and I would recommend it over sleeves without padding. I wear this sleeve for basketball and on my racket hand during racquetball. It really absorbs impacts into the walls well. Probably the best bang for your buck, especially if you are using it to play multiple sports as I do.

1000% recommend for indoor volleyball players that play more on the floor than standing! I play middle back a lot indoors and I always have bumps and bruises on my elbows! This has saved my elbows! I personally like the long sleeves with it. I feel like it stays better than just the pads. Plus, I like sleeves for playing volleyball, it’s a comfort thing. Great value for the money! Functions wonderfully- keeps my elbows from getting banged up! Easy to put on! It also washes just fine and dries just fine in my washer and dryer!

I have elbow bursitis and my orthopedic specialist advised that I get this exact compression sleeve. I am 120 pounds 5’0 and I’m very petite with thin arms. I used the size guide and this compression sleeve fits well. It’s helping keep the swelling down and the elbow pads helps to protect my painful elbow.

For me, the elbow pad doesn't guard the whole elbow, only the point of the elbow. The pad comes up short, guarding the inner and outer edges of the bony point of the elbow that contain tendon and ligament runs like a pulley wheel. You'll have to keep checking the position to keep it over the area you want it to cover. Better than without it. The pad that is there is fine. Just wish there was a bit more of it to the inside and outside.
