GAMMA Sports NeuCore Pickleball Paddle, Textured Graphite, Power Surface, Comfotable Grip

This is a great all around paddle. It improved control immensely. Great spin potential with a fair amount of power. The ball pops nicely off the paddle and goes where it’s supposed to go. The paddle fits and enhances my skill level which has just gotten to intermediate. Paddle is well made and feels great.

I transitioned from a thinner paddle that was giving me trouble hitting the ball on the outermost area of it. This paddle is firm, responds to the force you exert widening its sweet spot… excellent!

First let me say, I was not paid to give this review and rarely give reviews on Amazon or any other site. That being said, this is an excellent paddle. Gamma did it right this time. Very similar to the characteristics of the Gamma Compass, the 505 design is soft enough to bring your dinking game to another level but has enough "pop" for those baseline drives. The composition and design are great; the graphics are nice and not too over-bearing. The extended handle allows a two-handed backhand with ease. I normally use an 8 oz. paddle. The 505 weighed in at 7.6 oz. when I received it. I put lead tape at the top and sides of the paddle and added an overgrip. The additions added .3 grams for just the right swing weight. I gave this paddle a "5" and would buy another. Good Job Gamma!!

I have been playing pickleball for 6 months, 3-4 days a week. Started with a Head paddle before upgrading to this after using a friend's Riley Newman Gamma paddle. Has really great control compared to my old paddle, instantly improved my dinking game and hitting 3rd shot drops. I feel like I'm giving up some power in exchange for the additional control, but that's ok. Only negative for me is that the grip was a little slippery when sweaty or playing in high humidity or drizzle. I put an overgrip on it, and it's all better. Nice all around product.

Love this paddle! Took a few weeks to “break in” happy I purchased it. My game has improved with it.
