Harry Styles, the highly anticipated self-titled debut album from the global superstar. The ten track album features the lead single "Sign of the Times," which topped the charts in over 80 countries upon its release day. "Sign of the Times" was produced by Jeff Bhasker and co-written by Styles, with additional production by Alex Salibian and Tyler Johnson. The album is available digitally, and in three physical formats: A limited edition hardcover book version of the CD featuring 32 pages of exclusive images from the recording process, a standard package CD, and a vinyl LP version in a gatefold jacket. Review: Debut is everything I expected, but better - I know some people already have preconceived biases on his musical ability based on his long-held pop star boy band status, but this album is a chance to challenge that bias. The album is better than I could have anticipated, and it doesn't feel artificial; it's not trying to please an entire demographic. To be honest, this is the exact kind of music I expected from him because he's always been an old soul. I'm in my 20s now, but I spent half of my teens so intrigued with his former band and all its members, and so I've followed all their major moves together, and while I certainly don't claim to know them on a personal level, it almost feels like I know them. From what I've seen of Harry during that time, he's always been into this kind of older rock type, and the slow-moving ballads. Even that unreleased song he recorded with a friend a couple years back was, in retrospect, a younger version of the same sound this album carries. On his own, Harry stands to his full, unhindered potential. He demonstrates an incredible vocal range that's soothing in all its tones. The music itself has a rock edge to some, and a soft, mellow sound to the majority. All the songs having moving, heartfelt lyrics, and I almost forgot for a minute that I wasn't listening to my '80s playlist. It transports you to an era not that long gone, yet it almost makes you nostalgic, which is amazing for someone who hasn't lived that time. All in all, this album redefines him, giving him more depth and hopefully a wider audience to extend his musical talents to. Review: Great songs and song structure. Great CD - I just discovered Harry's solo work because when his 2 cd's were released I was having and then a long recovery of a quadruple heart bypass so that's why I'm just discovering his solo work. Man,I love bvb this guy's voice and his songwriting. Some of the songs ate extremely sad and makes you wonder who hurt him so badly and deeply but we all know it was was probably Zayn,Louis and the combination of the fallen romances with both of these guys and Harry just poured his feelings out in songs and lyrics and very good songs at that. This guy is got great lyric structure and each song tells a story story of how he is feeling, etc. Highly recommended no doubt but I couldn't tell you i can name at least 1 one direction song because I wasn't into their style of another teeny bopper boy band but honestly, and I have listened to all of their solo work,Harry and Louis have great songs but the rest of the boy bands solo work is just kinda there. Flat out horrible if you want my honest opinion but these are my thoughts after listening to them separately. Zayn mumbles through most of his songs on all three of his albums,Liam is just someone that thought he was the sh!t the way he acted and carried himself during videos, shows, and even during auditions while on X Factor and Niall's songs are ok but just typical, flat songs. Of the 5 guys,Harry and Louis will have lasting careers while they are branching out to acting in movies, etc. Just my true thoughts.

Harry's debut is an eclectic mix of classic and more modern indie-style rock, with fantastic, soulful vocals throughout.
Harry's debut includes some down-tempo songs, and some real, banging rock tunes. To me, each song works in its own way, and they combine to make a cohesive album with a theme (love, in its many forms). It starts and ends with chill, quiet, beautifully written and sung songs; the middle is a mix of easy-to-sing-along, sweet love songs and harder rock. A couple of my faves, so far - -Carolina - About a girl he met once and fell hard for, a few years ago; he hoped she's hear his song and call him. Harry said in an interview w/ Grimmy on BBC1 that she DID hear about the song, because her father was watching the Today show when Harry sang it live prior to the album launch. Kiwi - A banging tune about a hard-drinking girl, a beauty seemingly without a heart - with its unforgettable lyric Harry shouts repeatedly: "I'm having your baby / It's none of your business!" Harry sings softly and beautifully on the more chilled-out songs, and he tears into the louder songs with a powerful, excellent rock-and-roll voice. The songs are well-done; I highly recommend giving it a listen. You may just love it.

Awesome break out album.. Congrats !!!
( Review from my wife through my account) What can I say.. I am overjoyed to hear solo work from Harry ...it is a breath of fresh air I waited for this ..I enjoyed One direction but I have to be honest they were due to break out into other things..The boy bands do get old.. For Harry`s CD it has an old school feel.. it give a 60`s and 70`s era feel To me Harry seems to have an old soul which is awesome..I am an older fan as well I can totally relate to this album.. I just love it .. For example..the tune "Woman" gives a "Benny and the jets" vibe.. ( for those who don`t know look up... Elton john and that song) I love the vibe and his voice..with no auto tune in sight.. thank goodness..That gets old also..When an artist uses THEIR own voice it really says they are confident in what they are doing.. Auto tune for me just says let me pretend I can sing...UGH... SO THERE IS NONE OF THAT HERE Harry I say all the best to you.. congrats on a great job.. keep it up I`m diggin this album

Awesome purchase
I'm old enough to be Harry Style's grandma, but I love his music and I definitely know talent when I hear it. Harry's the whole package. His taste in the music he records ranges from soft ballads to funky rock and he shines on them all.

So I first heard the album in September and I still listen to it everyday. This has to be one of my favorite albums this year. Every song on the album is brilliant. This is true art. I'm looking forward to more music from Harry in the future. Really hoping SOTT wins a Grammy for Song of the year, his album too deserves a nomination under Best Rock Album *fingers crossed*

The only reason I’m giving this two stars is the album itself. I like Harry and I love his music. But I’m really annoyed. Came shipped in a plastic bag thing, cover art is very damaged and bent. Very angry.
