So far, so good!
Used it once, so far, at the beach. And i really like it! We set up next to friends who had a tent. And by the end of the day, everyone was under ours, because they said they liked the blue light the sun creates under the canopy, that it had a tropical vibe lol! And I agree, but opinions are like...well, you know the rest.. (Of course we got the blue one, seemed more fitting for the beach than the green one) It takes slightly more effort than just pulling a tent out of a bag and spreading it out to set up... but that minimal amount of extra effort outweighs any amount of convenience of a tent the very first time you pack it in your vehicle (with all the other stuff you're taking to the beach) and save tons of room, then when you walk out to the beach without lugging the heavy tent! Even if you use a cart (yes, I use the one with large inflatable wheels) it makes a huge difference pulling cart through the sand. I do feel like after I use it a couple times, I will have a good handle on how to set it up in roughly the same amount of time as the tent, because you can just leave the anchor straps clamped to the canopy and sand bags (do that with my tent too).. and setting those up and tying the straps to the the clamps the first time took as much time as anything. I also feel like it's made of good material that will last. The stiching at the canopy seems are solid. This one is taller than the other ones I read about, I'm 6'1" and the extra couple inches this one has over the others was a plus for me. I like the fact that it doesn't obstruct your view like the other ones that have built in sandbags as part of the canopy. We set up near one like that, and it kinda looks silly to me, and those sections are just a little bulky and feel like they would block more of my view than I would like. With this, it's just a pole and a couple thin straps. And, it comes with 6 (or 8?? Can't recall) straps and sandbags, so you can double up on the corners facing into the wind, or all 4 corners if you wish, which made a huge difference after the wind picked up and I decided to add two more to the front corners..and will be setting up with two on each corner facing into wind from now on. So for all the good I like with this, there are a couple drawbacks... first, in high winds the stretchy fabric moves.. a lot. Pulling it tighter helps, so pull that thing tight as you can when setting up. Also, I am going to experiment with different positioning into the wind, I read some reviews that said you need to put one side into the wind to help with this, but honestly, it's not like it's labeled front and back, so not necessarily intuitive. Second, one of the straps stitching broke loose when setting it up.... China.. what can you do? The canopy stitching is far superior to the straps. Since it was my first use, I went prepared for problems that may pop up, and took the parachord, pocket knife, sandbags, and plastic carabiners that I use with my tent, so I'll probly continue to do so, as it all fits in this bag. But aside from these couple little things, I really like it so far, and only see that getting better as I get more used to setting it up (I didn't have a chance to set it up before we went to the beach, so had no practice at all 😄!)

Okay when there's no wind, but a bit disappointing.
I had high hopes for this EasierHike sunshade so that I wouldn't have to pay the big bucks for the Shibumi. But alas, there is no free lunch. This sunshade worked fine when there was no wind, though it was much harder to set up than I thought it would be. It was also much heavier than I thought it would be. The material is very strong - but I guess the tradeoff is a lighter weight. The problem came when there was wind - as there is so often on the beach. We could not get the tail end of this sunshade to just stay put. It kept whipping up and down and hitting us on the head no matter how wide we staked it out, no matter which angle we tried.I ended up ordering the $$$$ Shibumi to be delivered to the beachhouse and using that the rest of our vacation. It was lightweight, much easier to set up, and worked with the wind. And not once did it hit us in the head (the material flapped, but it was high over our head instead of down near the sand as the EasierHike Sunshade was). I'll still use the sunshade someplace I'm sure - but probably not on the beach.-------------------------------------------------------EDIT ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2022--------------------------------------------------------Allow me to say that this vendor is really responsive. They contacted me and offered a full refund!!!! Not many vendors take such a proactive approach, and even fewer would put $$$ into customer service. I would definitely do business with this vendor again, and changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars based upon their customer service.

Almost Good
I love the design of this product. It is easy to set up once you learn how. The best part is the portability. It is much lighter and smaller packed than standard canopies of the same size. Once it is up, it is also very stable in the wind. There is one FATAL problem. The clips on the end of the straps are extremely flimsy. I used my canopy for the first time yesterday and two of the end clips broke. The clips are located on the end of the strap that attaches to the sand bags or ground stakes. Without those clips, it is useless. It cannot attach to the ground and the system no longer works. If the clips were good quality metal, this would be a 5 star product. I will have to replace the clips with something else that I may find at a hardware store.

I've purchased 3 in the past year
I use 2 for camping: one over our sitting area and one that we connect to our rv when it's too windy to use our awning. Just bought another one to replace the heavy mini canopy that I keep in my car. I work in a very windy area and have crumpled many ez-ups; not this thing though and it's so easy to adjust as the sun moves...move poles around as opposed to a clunky canopy.

Just keeps falling
After all the you tube tutorials and all the tricks and adjusting - 3 days on the beach with this thing and the slightest wind change and it would loosen and then just really not be sturdy. Had it fall twice on the kids no matter how much weight in the sand bags.

Withstands 30+ MPH Aruba Trade Winds
The media could not be loaded. The 7x7 shade held up to the brutal Aruban trade winds for many beach trips! We had to modify the angle of the poles to be at a 45 degree angle into the wind, but it gave us endless hours of shelter from the intense equator sun. We only received one elastic tie with the shade and the other one wasn’t strong enough to support a carabiner and sand bag attached directly to the pole. I used hair elastics to hold it in place. We love the wind friendly design!

EasierHike Sunshade
Great sunshade. Easy to put up! Works well in the wind too! You can angle the front too by placing the poles further back so it makes like a sun visor! I would definitely buy again!

Practico

Suficiente espacio
The media could not be loaded. Fácil de armar, hacia bastante viento y resistió muy bien, no ocupé todos los soportes y aun así tenia muy buena estabilidad. El color está muy padre. El tamaño es más que suficiente
